My DS is a big believer in keeping the body in an alkaline state to prevent cancer from growing.  I too would like to know where you can buy it and how much to drink.  There's a book "The pH Miracle" by Dr. Robt O. Young that explains the entire alkaline diet and its benefits.  I have it, just need to read through it for the info.

I found the water at my grocery store in the organic section. I found a one liter bottle for a $1.99. I guess that isn't so bad. Pop and Juice cost more than that. I gave up Pop completely a few years ago so drinking this water is worth the buck ninety a liter.

There was a thread about this a couple years ago here and I think someone said that rather than purchasing special alkaline water you can simply add fresh lemon slices to your water for the same effect ...

From my understanding, alkaline water is okay in the short term, but long term, not a good idea.  It will affect your stomach acid to the point that you will have inefficient digestion and can actually expose you to bacterial overgrowth and parasites.

The benefits of alkaline water are not proven at all.  I know some will disagree with me.

That being said, you can still try it.  Adding lemon would make it acidic, the opposite of alkaline.  Adding baking soda would make the water alkaline.

There are on line recipies for making your own alkaline water from either tap water, filtered water, or distilled water.  That might be cheaper than buying prepared alkaline water.
