Hoo boy

My name is Erick and I am looking for any information on experiences with alternative medicine. My first wife passed from pancreatic cancer in 2001. My high school sweetheart and I reconnected and married in 2005. She was diagnosed with stage 3 e+ breast cancer in 2006. She underwent a right mastectomy and chose out of chemo and radiation. She chose to treat it through nutrition and supplements. Here we are in 2011 with what appears to be mets to the spine, hip, and possibly liver. With that being said we are looking at the european budwig diet along with maybe zometa and a hormone blocker. As the oncologist put it, for palliative care, as they may be able to control but not cure. So after that rant and history, has anyone here attempted naturopathic treatments?

Thank you

Erick and Lynda

Yes,  there is a several subforums devoted to natural, alternative and holistic treatments.. go to the index and scroll down about 20 forums.. (this is a big place)'.. in a subset of "

    Tests, Treatments & Side Effects

'Im' so sorry .  it is difficult to provide interforum links but here is a try.. you'll probably have to paste this in your browser.  It is easy to find tho, from the forum index tab on the upper left.

ericcarpenter..hi, and sorry you and your partner have to face these decisions again, and that she is facing a stage IV diagnosis...she is not alone, there are many intelligent and informed women and men here... Have a look at the Alternative section/forum..for more info on the diet you mentioned. Also, I started a stage IV thread for those who are looking at a number of ways to treat, and live with, stage IV BC in the Alt forum called 'An Alternative approach to stage IV health and choices' you may find something there of interest .....you or she may want to post on the stage IV forum too, for emotional support and information on treatments...wishing you strength during this hard time.
