Now I want to meet you all more than ever.
I need a hug...........
-
Sending you hugs and love and lots of prayers, dear sister. We'll be back in Virginia toward the end of October. I think I need your address.
Love, Anna
-
Oh no, Marylou. I am so sorry. Since I don't get here often, I just found out and can't find the words. I love you and I'm here for you. This is for you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5K4MURYsv3k

Anna, I will be in that part of the state on Oct 14. I will be going to the Loudoun hospital sale.
-
Ody, I thought you knew. I have been updating on FB. Check my post on FB and read the link about Zometa.
Anna, I sent you my address in a PM
-
And you, my sweet sister, are up way too late at night it seems.
Love, Anna
-
Mary Lou, I just read your post above about being at the Loudoun Hospital sale in October. We will have to talk more about that.
-
I think so......you could meet my mom. She is finishing my quilt to bring down on the third of Sept. ..... She was in very poor health for a few months. We thought she would never sew again. But she has had a turn around.
-
Yes Anna it is late here. I 'm having a hard time sleeping at the right time of day. It feels like the days back when I was first on this board.
-
Mary Lou - thinking of you today. Hope you are not in pain. I'm not sure why I don't see your posts on FB. I'll check again. Sending gentle hugs your way. Love you dear friend.

Mary Lou, I keep thinking there is some great cosmic joke; but if so, I don't get it. Please know how much we love you and want to surround you with that love and support. Are you being treated by a different team this time? My bc/aerobics/all-around BFF was dx'd with bone mets in 2004 and treated with surgery (double), chemo, Zometa and Arimidex. Today, the bone scan shows no sign of disease. She had no side effects at all from the Zometa and the usual bone/joint issues many of us have from Arimidex. Are you in pain? If so, what are they doing about that. Any thoughts about adding some alternative treatments; i.e. acupuncture, healing touch, bio feedback, etc.
Hugs to all my sisters
Nancy.

My team is different. ( The center changed from Carillon to Lewis Gayle I have some pain , believe it or not it fluctuates with the weather just like Arthur.
I can touch places on my body that are sore and that is where the mets is.
(Skull, femur, pelvic, hips , spine and ribs.)
I'm going to see how the treatments go first.
-
What a joy to hear Mary's voice today. Glad we had a nice chat. How is everyone else doing? It's been a very long time since everyone has checked in. Hope all is well.
-
Awe... thanks Ody. I sound so southern. Have that draw. It was fun talking to you

Can you believe Sebastian is going to be 5 next Sunday.

Hi there girls. How is everyone doing? Seems like a life time has passed since we all first came to this page.
What has been happening in your world ?
I know all our kids are growing like weeds.
Sebastian played soccer this year. Can't believe all the things I have been able to enjoy.
-
So good to hear from you, Mary Lou! Things are going well here. I'm going in to have one of my flaps adjusted a bit (scar tissue removed), but other than that there's little to report.
I hope all my sisters are well and happy!
-
Scan report, wasn't good news . Cancer is back. Skull and hip . Had CT and bone scan. Took me off hormone therapy. Have app on Tuesday, I will know the plan then.
-
I'm so sorry to hear that, Mary Lou! Please let us know the plan after your appt on Tuesday. My thoughts are full of you, dear sister. Lots and lots of love and good wishes.
