I personally don't love the Nearly Me forms. They don't feel as natural on me as other foam forms I've used. Have you tried them? If you like their basic shape and feel, I would say the weighted forms are less likely to ride up. For me, in some bras the non-weighted forms tend to ride up a bit, but in others they're fine. If that's a concern, the weighted forms are probably a better bet.

If you haven't already, you might check out the Breast Forms section of my non-profit website, BreastFree.org. Scroll down the page to "Non-Silicone Forms" and you'll find some other options for lightweight forms that are cooler in the summer than silicone (though there are some silicone forms that minimize perspiration, which I review under "Silicone Forms"). If you click on the name of each form, it will link to a page that has a picture of the form and details about it.

Edited to say: I see you just posted that you ordered Nearly Me forms. I hope you love them. If not, they should be returnable.

I am happy to find this thread...I have had 1 breast for 18 months, 38C and it was pretty miserable, the bras gave me lymph issues and were sooo miserable.  Now I have had to have my other breast removed almost two weeks ago, and I ordered camisoles with pockets, and two foobs for an A cup....LOL to wear when i am dressed up.

Mostly however I am glad to be bra free right now, I am glad to have the cancer gone and I feel free. I am happy with scarves, full sweaters, jewelry, I love to dress up so I am just going to enjoy life and feel free from the constant worry of that "one lone big (scary to me because of cancer worries) breast". That was a tough fashion issue every day...

oh, the camisoles, I order a size larger, nothing is exact, I mean my figure shifts a little, but I don't worry about things like that. The microbead foobs go flat, so I "perk" them now and then. They ride up, I pull them back down. heaven only knows what people watching think LOL...

I am pleased to meet all of you, oh, I am not having reconstruction...

I was wondering the same thing. I am going to check some out in about a week.  I am glad now, that I did not get reconstruction when I had the MX. I wanted a bilateral, but surgeon said to wait until we knew what we were dealing with.  Has anybody out there had a recurrence with implants??

i hate my prostheic bra, I had a mastectomyJan.5/ll I wanted a bilateral but was denied. Now I have seen the surgeon and am waiting for the booking office tocall. I do hope it is before Christmas. I hate the heaviness of the foob-i was a 44 D  and they try to match you up. Yeah right! The bra rubs where the drains were so it is always uncomfortable,Ican hardly  wait to go flat!!
