DCIS- clinical trial vaccine

I actually got this same vaccine by Dr.Brian Czerniecki in 2009. It totally worked. I had a complete response. If you have DCIS that is also Her2/neu positive, you need to get the vaccine made before your surgery. Six shots over six weeks then you get lumpectomy or mastectomy (whatever is best for you). The vaccine is used in addition to traditional treatment. Check out my website www.shelleydodt.com for more info. Also Penniesinaction.org can provide lots of information about the trial. If you already had surery but have poor margins, you would qualify if you are Her2/neu positive. I had no side effects, it was not painful and I go to Philadelphia every 6 months to be checked. I was patient #30, they are up to about 53 now with excellent results. Dr. C. Has been doing this trial since 2007. The news made it sensationalized but check it out. It was miraculous for me! Shelley - I have looked at the clinical trial http://www.penncancer.org/patients/clinical-trials/breast-cancer-trials/trial-55899/, and to qualify you can't have had surgery yet (biopsy ok).  Where are you seeing information about qualifying if you've already had surgery but poor margins? 

 Eligibility You could be eligible if:

• You have been diagnosed with DCIS, an invasive tumor of 5mm or less or Paget's Disease and have not yet had surgery (except for a bopsy);
• Are a female 18 years of age or older;
• Your tumor is HER2 positive
• Have no known serious illnesses (immune/ blood disorders, cardiac disease).
