grade 3 dcis left breast now lump on right breast

Hello I am a newbie to the board although i have been on here silently for many months now I am a 38 year old mother of two children who has a strong history of breast cancer in family my mother suffered so much and died at age 48 my first cousin has it and now I was diagnosed with dcis in June on left side had lumpctomy then 35 rads grade 3 now two weeks after radiation I went in for a check up and doctor found a new area on my right breast it feels like a small marble surrounded by bumpy spots I went in for a mammogram and ultrasound to look at it further they said my breast where very dense breast and nothing showed up now I am scheduled for a open biopsy on Dec. 2nd my question is any one ever been in this place that I am now I am taking tamixofen and just feeling overwhelmed and scared what if its cancer ?

    Was a bilateral MRI done before your lumpectomy, and if so, did it show these spots? If no MRI was done, did the spots show up on previous mammograms?

    What was the pathology of the lump that was removed? Was it pure DCIS or DCIS with microinvasion?

    Did you have a sentinel node biopsy with your lumpectomy, and what was the pathology on the nodes?
