Does your neck has the same

Dear all,

I have a history of migraine headaches that last a day ot 2 and goes away. Leaving me with a bit of neck stiffness and muscle pain in the shoulder. 5 days ago, I had the MH, and was so painfull, once gone away there is a bumpy muscle in my shoulder that hurts when I press it.

I was told that I have a problem with my neck spine. Any how, I was observing my neck today, and want to check does everyone has this or it relates to neck anatomy. At the back of my neck on the sides of the spine, upper part of the neck, I feel two holes at the back of my neck where I can place my fingures. Deep down those two holes I feel something round on both sides is it a knot or bone or muscle I don't know and can't even tell. I tried to examine my lymph nodes, but barely felt anything. I think I felt a small lymph on the side of my neck, but when I searched again I could not find it.

Should that leave me concerend..

    HI Polyana

    I'm another one who suffers with my neck and shoulders and am always stiff and sore and I've done exactly the same as you in the past, prodded and poked and found things I didn't know were there. I now know that what you're feeling is quite normal and you have the same thing on both sides which is good. It does freak you out though and I get scared to feel now in case I feel something that scares me. If you're worried though why not visit your doctor or breast care nurse for peace of mind.
