Truncal LE after using sleeve?

 I have been using a sleeve & glove on and off, depending on heaviness that I feel in my arm. My swelling is minimal (if there is any) but the suspicion is that I do have LE, albeit subclinical. In recent days I have noticed that when I wear the sleeve, I get pain in my neck and part of my breast. Could this be truncal LE as a result of wearing a sleeve? Has anyone experienced this?

    Suzanne, I'm hoping Binney comes along--she really knows truncal LE: whenever the quadrant is disturbed, you are at risk for truncal/breast LE. I'll put the link in for breast/truncal LE, and if you still have a LE therapist, it might be time for a reassessment:

    Suzanne,  bummer! Definitely check in with your therapist to evaluate this. If it's truncal LE, earlier treatment is better.

    I do have trouble with my truncal LE when the band at the top of the sleeve is too tight. Physiologically that doesn't make any sense to me, but that's what happens anyway. In fact, I'm in the process of ordering new sleeves and I plan to try no band (silicone) at the top of the sleeve this time. I'm hoping the sleeve will stay up anyway, but the point is that the tightness at the top aggravates my truncal LE.

    Truncal LE can be painful, BTW.Frown And the pain doesn't respond well to pain meds. It does respond well to LE treatment, though, so it's possible to get real relief.

    Binney (or others), 

    Any sleeves (brands) that you find working better for you?  I have a Juzo and it does indeed feel rather tight at the top... Suggestions? Thanks! (and yes, it is painful!)
