Seven years!
Hello!
Today is seven years since I first heard I had breast cancer. It turned out that I had Stage 3 breast cancer. Two tumors, one 1.5 cm, invasive ductal carcinoma, and one 0.9 cm, ductal carcinoma insitu. I also had 9 positive nodes. I had a mastectomy, with lymph node removal, reconstruction, chemo, radiation and I continue treatment with Femara. It's been a wild ride, but I am a survivor and I am still here! I will be 55 in 11 days!
Today is a great day: 11/11/11! I am grateful to Breastcancer.org discussion boards for saving my mental health when I was first diagnosed.
I wish those of you going through your treatment journey peace and health!
Love to all!
