Congrats Kay! I left a pink handprint on the wall leading into the rads chamber! There's are lots of hands on the wall!
-
Kay - Congrats on finishing rads. What a great feeling. Now take time to rest and get your energy back.

I was sore and tender for about 7 months....went to a lymphodema massage therapist and a physiotherapis who taught me some exercizes and how to do self-massage on the scar tissue...both made a huge difference and I have been wearing my underwire bras since July without any problems...wear the soft cup sports bras on the weekends....the redness and pain will goaway. My left breast is pretty much regular colour now and I don't have that 'omg Ican't breathe in this bra' feeling any more....liquid build up mean I coud wear something one day and then not the next. It WILL get better!
-
Ducky - Count me in with all the others who are sending prayers and positive energy to you, Grayson, Kira and the whole family. Blessings and peace, Gabby

Hi everyone. Wow. I was SO FAR BEHIND on posts. Just got back from two trips. One fantastic getaway (blues cruise on the Holland America ship Zaandam), the other trip mostly boring and crappy (convention and managers meeting). I even had my birthday during meetings. Bummer. Did have two fun days in Vegas and saw the ventriloquist Terry Fator, the musical Jersey Boys, and the Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues. So, now it's back to work and boy am I tired. Anyway, I'm so far behind that I'll just have to say congrats to those who are celebrating, hugs to those who are sad, good luck to those who are expecting news, and thanks to everyone for all your information and inspiration.
-
Congrats, Pam! Happy for you that you are finally done! Enjoy your freedom and welcome :-)
