Just remember knowledge is power. The news you get will help you to make decisions. I hope the best for you.

Thank you...the best to you too...a little over 14 hours to go until I know....I wish they could have just opened the envelope and read me the results over the phone...an Ambien night for sure!

NYruralrider, have a good sleep, and tomorrow you'll know and can plan ahead. Please come back and tell us how it goes!

Just remember if you are positive, there is always hope. I was stunned to learn I was BRCA+, and I immediately assumed the worst.  Although I had breast cancer when I learned about my BRCA status, the knowledge that my risks were different than others spurred me to act. I took all the preventative strikes recommended. I also feel very lucky that it was me that found out...I have two teenage daughters.

Am I thrilled that I was positive? Of course not, but I do have hope that my daughters will not have to make the choices I have made. I hope that the path that I have walked will end with my daughters being able to make informed decisions about  their health and benefit from all the new research on those who are BRCA positive.

Just remember to breathe...everything is doable. One step at a time..

Thank you everyone. I did find out I was BRCA Negative. I was relieved. This whole BC journey is so scary. Ambien helped me sleep last night because I was sweating it. Hugs to all you brave women.
