I was able to figure it out myself  without knowing the #'s because I have a tram flap from my breast reconstruction and it gets uncomfortable for me... Now I am on to the   next.... I pray something will help me.   ANy new news out there. Also since I eat healthy and exercise what snacks can I eat that will help me to keep my calories on. I  like my cakes and snacks. Hi, Debbie ~ I'm so sorry about your recurrence.  I can't offer any advice re. chemo or hormonal drugs, but hopefully others will be along who can.  Otherwise, you may want to repost that part of your question in the Stage IV forum, where others who have dealt with that type of recurrence might have some specific suggestions.  There's also a new thread in the Stage IV forum (click on Forum Index above) on nutrition.

As far as the snacks go, I would definitely try to get away from the cakes and other sweets. Here's a website I came across yesterday that looks like it has a lot of cutting edge nutrition & cancer information:    http://www.eattodefeat.org/   Some of my favorite snacks are hummus with raw veggies, cheese and apples, pears or grapes, or avocado on whole grain bread.

Good luck getting the answers you're after!   Deanna

    Debbie,

Sorry for the reoccurence.  If you are trying to gain weight; you might want to eat more healthly carbs like whole wheat breads  and muffins & get adequate protein.

Onc's may try Faslodex once Femara is not working anymore.
