Just recovering from lumpectomy.  Have an appointment with two oncologists.  I just found your website and signed up.  What questions should I ask?

Reading from other sisters who are in the exact same boat as me helps me to cope with my own sister's stage IV -  reading a post from someone which echoes my feelings and could have been my own words helps me to cope.

A welcoming community in the most frightening time of my life - their information, kindness and support literally made the difference between coping and not.  The words Thank you could never express enough.

Having had IBC, this website has helped me not to feel so alone with this rare & aggressive form of breast cancer.  NJ

I am just getting on and it is really the only place I feel I have to go... sadly there isn't much out there.  On the flip side, if there were I may not have found breastcancer.org... Thank You!

I just signed up last night and I was feeling so alone and isolated.  Thank goodness I found this site.  Women responded to my concerns and it is the first time since this nightmare started that I felt that someone actually understands me.

Today I have reached 5 years on Arimidex and tomorrow I will not be taking a pill.  Each morning I took my pill and said, "This is going to save my life."  I'll be interested to see what was side effects and what was just aging.  It's real easy to blame everything on the pill.  I am so grateful to have had them.  The care I have received from my surgeon and oncologist has been outstanding.  I'm a little nervous about stopping but the doctor says it's time.  I'm excited about getting on with my life.

I met three terrific ladies through this site whom I regularly communicate with off boards. I'm not a huge poster, but feel comfortable dropping in from time to time when the need arises. By far the best information and forum community out there. Thank you volunteers for the time and effort it takes to run the show!
