Excessive underarm sweating on the lumpectomy side

I had a lumpectomy in March and it included a sentinel lymph node biopsy (all negative). That was followed by radiation treatment which I finished at the end of June. Since then, I find that I have significant underarm perspiration only on the side of the lumpectomy!  And I have never been one to perspire significantly. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Is it the result of the lymph node biopsy? the radiation? And does it end????

My results from radiation were the opposite, no sweating or hair growth on the rads side.

There are prescription deodorants, ask your family doc.

I am like ma111. I am 2 1/2 years post lumpectomy and still no sweating on the lumpectomy/SNB side. But seems as if the other side doubles up to make up for it!

I have noticed I seem to perspire more since I had 2 nodes removed. I don't put deodorant right on my incision but I do all around it and I don't think that little area would make a difference. I had all nodes removed on the other side 6 years ago followed by rads and did not have that happen.

I found this post searching to see if it is just my imagination that I perspire more, or maybe it is just that I never smelled perspiration before now. I am wondering what might be causing this and if its going to go away.
