chest wall pain

I had bc in my left breast,mastectomy of left breast and implants in both . For about a month been having pain in my chest closer to the bc breast, Had a MRI last Friday, the results showed concern on my 4 or 5 rib and chest wall. Having a CT and bone scan on Friday.  Oncologist said it could be a old injury but I don't ever remember injuring myself. Very Scared !

    mylifelisa - I am sorry you are having pain issues and dealing with this kinda fear...did you have rads in the past?  Have you ever been involved in a car accident where your ribs might have taken a hit? This waiting for more information is hell!

    I had pain issues on my cancer side chest wall as well...started with intense pain and continued for over a month with every movement of my implant causing pain and discomfort,  my PS examined me & felt that I had torn an intercostal muscle in my chest wall, ordered a bone scan just to be sure,  scan came back clear... I am hoping your results come back clear as well...

    No rads, 8 doses chemo and no car accident.

    Hi Lisa. I am sending hugs from right down the street. I live in Hamburg, too! Hope that your outcome will be B9 and you will happily recall a childhood bike fall that will be the reason for your pain. We have a similar diagnosis that occured within days of one another. Wow.
