Anyone here going thru radiation in Seattle this month? Just thought I'd check in and ask. I start tomorrow at Swedish and would love to have a rads buddy for the next 6.5 weeks.
I hope to be able to come to the dinner on the 24th -- will depend on my husband's work schedule. Thanks for organizing!
-
We on for tomorrow night at Red Robin ????? Peg, myself and possibly one other are planning on coming on over ??? Look forward to catching up and meeting new "crazy" gals !!!!

-
I plan to be there and will tell the hostess I'm with the Crazy, Sexy Party
-
Hi ladies,
Yes, we are still on for 6:00pm tonight at Red Robin. I will be coming directly from another meeting so I won't be there early to get us a table. I'm not sure how many people will be there.....maybe 8?? Looking forward to seeing everyone.
-
I will be catching 4:40 ferry so I can get a table set for us by 5:30ish !
-
I will be there.
-
I have a conflict, so won't be there. Have a terrific time everyone. See you at the next one.
-
I have a 3:40 docs appt., but he always is running late, so i will come after my appt. so can grab a table too, or golfer i will see you there a little early too.
-
I won't be able to make it tonight, sorry! Hope to meet you in person next time around.
-
It was great to see everyone last night. Good luck with your upcoming surgery, Shelly!
-
I had a great time and it was good to talk to everyone this time. Once again i learned so much from you ladies that went through this journey before me.
Shelly, i too want to send good wishes your way! Let us know how your doing.
Untill we meet again........
Pam

Pam ~ you need to update your profile picture with your current fabulous hairstyle!
-
Thank you for the well wishes. I will definately keep you posted. It was so nice to meet you wonderful women! That was the first time I've gotten together in person with others that have been on this journey. It was inspiring and comforting to know that I'm not alone in this and it's all "do-able". You are all so nice and I look forward to meeting those that couldn't make it the next time we get together.
-
Sad I missed the gathering ! I have not been feeling well. One more abraxane and then surgery. Maybe the next time I can make it, sounds like you all had a wonderful time!
-
Susan you are so sweet!!! Here it is, i don't know how fabulous it is, but it's better and more than the last picture. Thanks
Bak i know how you feel i did Abraxane too
Just rest and best wishes for your up coming surgery. I'm sure we will do dinner again.
-
Pam ~ It IS fabulous and you totally rock that haircut!
Sorry you weren't feeling well Bak ~ I hope we are able to plan another get together sooner rather than later.
-
Thanks everyone for coming to the dinner this week. As always, I enjoy talking with everyone. Had a mammogram today and graduated to once a year mammograms. Woo hoo! Almost like a "normal" person!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Tracy

Congrats on your "graduation" Tracy!!

Hi Seattle gals! I have a question for you. Have any of you seen Dr. Beshlian for diep reconstruction? I have an appointment with him for a consult.
-
Bak94-I had Dr. Beshlian perform my Bilat Diep this last March. He works in tandem with Dr. Paige. I had a great experience with him and his entire office staff. He did a fabulous job and I would highly recommend.
I don't know if they shared this with you yet, but they have a recon support group that meets the 3rd Tues of every month. I think it is at 6:30. You can meet women who have had the surgery and hear what it was like and also see some of the after results. This was really helpful for me.

Thank you for the info. I forgot about the support meeting, I think I will go. I can't have my surgery until I heal from bmx and rads, so like 6 months to a year, a long wait! My bmx is Nov. 30th.
-
Tracy -- congrats on your graduation! Something so small to others is huge for us.
-
bak94, I can concur with what vmarie shared with you. I am nearly 2 years out from a uni-DIEP, and could not be happier with my results and the care I received at VM. As well I recommend the support mtg (I often attend to share) .

Ladies
It was great to see everyone at the dinner way back in October! I really enjoyed talking with everyone. Tracy, congrats on your graduation to once a year. That IS cause for celebration, indeed! Thanks for planning the dinner.
Merry Christmas everyone! Look forward to another dinner in the new year.
