As I read thru this thread it is obvious everyone has an opinion and that's great.   Just seems to be headed down a no win situation.  Hate seeing my BC sisters at odds.

I was just amazed to see "thenewme" mention an oganization for TN.  Not sure where my head has been since it's been almost 2 yrs since being dx with TN.

Thanks thenew me for posting the website address.  I will definitley go check it out.

    thenewme,

Having worked in the field for years, I can say with absolute confidence that, because of the crap-ass way Komen funds research, they will literally NEVER be responsible for getting anything into a clinical trial.  They are not alone, of course.  Most research is funded in such a backwards way as to pretty much ensure progress isn't made.  For a good research model, please check out the Myelin Repair Foundation.  They know what they are doing.   And honestly, if bringing a drug to trial isn't one of Komen's intents, then they shouldn't say that they are working "for the Cure."  Because bringing drugs to trial is the only way to get a cure.

I don't know if BCA is related to Breast Cancer Choices.  That would definitely give me pause. That's another website that I go to in order to glean info and then get off before I find myself making a tin foil hat.
