After anyone was concerned or diagnosed? Did you notice little painless bumps around your breast or all over your skin in different locations like your chest and arms (or somewhere else), if so please share with me? I have heard about skin mets but I am not sure what that is/if it has something to do with IBC/or what skin mets look like? Can you help? Thanks a lot. :)

Sorry cnebae48, can't help you out but I'm sure someone will be along soon to offer insight.  Are you on any meds that could cause this?  If you're worried, call the doc.

It's okay. I'm not on any medications. I have some symptoms for IBC, but I am waiting for the nurse at the specialist office to call me back and schedule me an app. I just noticed these bumps and idk where they are coming from or why. I feel fine, not sick or anything.

Some one post a pic of skin mets but I can't find it.  Do you have a rash?

I have a bruise around my left nipple plus the other symptoms and it's kinda like a rash...right under my breast, between both breast and under them, and on my arms.

Skin mets are one of those things that are just about impossible to diagnose via internet images unless you are a trained doctor.  I and my wife made that mistake - found a picture that looked just like hers and were convinced it was skin mets.  Turns out it was not - it was shingles, commonly caught by those on chemo because of low immunity.

Keep an eye on it, try some anti-inflammatory/antibiotic creams.  If it doesn't go away, or starts to get worse over time, then make sure a doctor sees it as soon as possible.  Otherwise, just show it to your oncologist at your next appointment.

    Hope this helps,

    Sean E.
