DCIS and positive node?

I was wondering if one could have a small 5mm DCIS tumor (clear margins and BMX), then have a positive node. Whn I had my BMX I had 5 nodes removed from that side and everything came back negative. I now feel a small node that is mildly sore to the touch. I had a US but the results came back B9.  My onc wants me to watch the spot but so far nothing has changed. The only thing that concerns me is that it has been 2 months and I still feel pain in that node every month for a few days.  Has this happened to anyone and they found out they had cancer?

Is your pain from the same side as the 5 nodes that were removed?  I've heard the underarm is such a painful place because it is so 'busy' with nerves, perhaps the pain you are feeling is related to the BMX or other node removal.  I've also heard it said that BC is not painful, but perhaps only in the breast itself.
