Hoping this isn't a recurrence, but worried

Hi. My bc diagnosis was almost 2 years ago. I've had a double mastectomy with TRAM reconstruction. About 6 weeks ago I noticed two lumps on the left side, almost under my arm ( the cancer side). I had appointment with my plastic surgeon, and he told me he wanted to check again in one month (which is tomorrow). I also have appointment with breast surgeon for an ultrasound on Thursday.



I'm trying to tell myself that the lumps are scar tissue, but still I'm a little anxious. I really don't want more surgery to remove these (I've had five surgeries in past two years), but for some reason I'm feeling strongly that surgery will be recommended. I originally had no lymph node involvement.



Not sure why I posted -- I guess I just needed to vent and get some encouragement. It sucks to have to go through this type of anxiety about any new symptom, doesn't it?
