Hi  Did anyone hear about the new movie   "Pink Ribbons Inc " out of Torronto Film Festival last week?  Movie slams pink-washing in breast cancer campaign. Saw the article in the Ottawa Citizen. It was also in our local paper.  SharonH

I heard about the movie as well. I'm in T.O. and did go to the Film Festival but didn't manage to get a ticket for that film. I hope it will show up in the theatres so I can get to see it.

It was a National Film Board of Canada production I believe. So if it doesn't manage to get a release, maybe people can go see it eventually on those individual viewers they have at the NFC mediatecque on John St. in Toronto. It's a great place. I don't know how long it takes for them to put something up, but you can now see thousands of films for free there. Montreal also has a center.

Meanwhile the trailer for Pink Ribbons Inc. is here and gives a good idea of the argument. Also there are some clips from the filmmakers.

Hi - sorry to jump in here. I work for the NFB and I just wanted to confirm that yes, there will be a Canadian theatrical release of the film in early 2012. We're still uncertain about US theatrical dates, but on the trailer page (http://nfb.ca/pink) and the Pink Ribbons, Inc. page (http://nfb.ca/playlist/pink_ribbons_inc/) there's an email address where you can enter your postal code and we'll keep you updated on release dates in your area.

     Thanks.
