good luck I hope you get the one you want, how annoying it all must be

Michael is in bed, whatever I am going out to a meeting....why can't they just get yp and go to school, tried waking him up and he said "shut up mom"  that is it for me.....guess he doesn't want to graduate, wonder where he will live after June, cause I can't afford to live here when child support goes, etc...

    What is everybody doing today?

How could I be so stupid as to be scammed again?  So the guy who showed us the house isn't authorized in WA, he got someone else to get him the key.  And he advertised a listing that wasn't his without permission which is against the law so I was booted to the bottom of the list.  This morning I realized something was very wrong when I still didn't even have the credit app so I called the listing agent and found out all this.  I believe I made a strong enough argument that I am now back at the top of the list  But, geez, when will I stop trusting people without good reason?

Teenagers grow up, go to college, move away, get married - you will miss them, I swear on my life!!

Hope you're back at the top of the list.

I ran for you guys today (and Monday.)  Oops, I mean "ran."  lol  Have to be careful or my plantar faciia will start to complain.  Getting old sucks.  Was lucky the rain held off for the most part.  Would really like to do the Manchester Road Race on Thanksgiving, but I don't know....  4.748 miles.  Might be too far for me.

Hope Michael gets up for school tomorrow.  Sorry he was so disrespectful.  :(

Silver lining found tonight :) DH and I went to look at another house, it was even better and less money and on the water and closer to our own house.  YAYAYAY!!!

Bitch slapping scumbag named Vincenzio and tossing him into Linda's tank.  Since I will be on the lake, I could take any overflow from the tank :)  Especially since I am filling it lately.

Deb - poor you, your dad, etc.  I remember how hard it all was with my dad.

Linda - are the workers gone?

Sheila - thinking of you and still wondering if you will ever move to Hawaii.

Chris - Could you run a mile for me today?

Sandy - are you feeling any better?

Electrician isstill here andthe plastereris coming back to do some more work.  Carpet will be installed Monday which is awesome since I can get my sons separated. Sharing a roomis NOT good.  We still have to deal with the wood flooring and the master bath.  Tile and silestone have been order.  just waiting....

Your silver lining sounds awesome.  I want to live on a lake, or ocean.  Lately, it's been a puddle.

I'm here to vent and it's all my fault.

Got on the scale this morning and broke the record.

    174 poundsEmbarassed

When i came back on Sept 2nd I weighted 166.  (In 29 days I put 8 pounds on.)

This gave me a good scare because my chest was kinda heavy for few days.

Today I'm in business again. I didnt survive BC to have a Heart attack because I can't control my eating.

    Thank You for listening.

Sheila - don't be too hard on yourself.  I suspect you were more active in Hawaii, remember the pool, etc?  You probably were eating lots and lots of fruit, the kind that removes fluid from your body.  I know you eat fruits and veggies at home, but those are different than the fruits in Hawaii.  Be good to yourself.....

Many more people who do not have access to an affordable health insurance plan through their employer will be able to get health insurance through the state health insurance exchanges that will be set up by 2014--that's only 3 years away. Many Americans will qualify for the subsidy to help them buy a health plan. But in each state, we must use these 3 years to make sure we mobilize to make sure our state legislators put together exchanges that have pro-consumer advocates advocating for quality standards: really quality coverage that is also affordable. There are many ways available to control costs without harming the quality of care. By 2014, insurance companies--whether employer-sponsored or not--will not be able to deny adults coverage for a pre-existing condition. Right now, no insurance company can deny coverage to a child with a pre-existing condition.

Yes, Sheila, you do eat well so I wouldn't worry to much about it.  Remember how you lost weight last year? Maybe it's just evening out.

I would if I could.  Just remember not to lift anything too heavy---a couple of people I know with lymphadema told me that that is how theirs started.  After seeing theirs and reading about it on these threads I'm very careful.

Diane, I am most apt to lift something too heavy when I cook at our Senior Center (every Thursday).  I have a young volunteer helper - 29, barely old enough to be my son  - I would have been 40 when he was born - who has adopted me and watches my every move.  If I even look in the direction of something too heavy he is right there to get it for me.  Since I couldn't have kids of my own I've kind of adopted him too.  He didn't learn much cooking from his Mom so I'm teaching him too.  He works in a restaurant so that has helped him advance from dishwasher to line cook .  I feel very lucky to have him.

Chabba - I understand completely - I feel very fortunate about the extra's we have brought into our lives, in addition to our own children.  Had two of them here this past weekend and it was like my family was almost all together again.

I've always been an "adopted" aunt and more recently grandma.  For four years i've been Grandma to a boy who will be 7 in December but this is the first time I've been adopted as mother by an adult!  I also volunteer on Sundays when I made the sourdough pancakes, waffles and biscuits with my own recipes and the sausage gravy.  I also take orders and deliver meals.  He comes in to help then too.  Our Sunday grill cook also seems to have adopted me as an older sister and also watches to see that I don't overextend myself.  You could say I'm happily humbled by their love and care!

Wow - what wonderful relationships you have with those people, Chabba.  And how wonderful that you were able to help that young man advance.  And so generous of you to cook for people the way you do.  I can't cook.  It must be so nice to be able to do that for people.

I "ran" today and walked extra.  Very nice day out there today - but it will be freezing in a another day or so...  Pigged out on Doritos last night so wanted to try to burn a few extra calories.  Must go back to being good.  I'm starting to slip.  I HAVE to get this weight off.  No more yo-yo-ing.

Hope you got out for your long walk today, Sheila.

Hope the workers aren't keeping you from your walks, Linda.

Been studying - now I'm behind on the housework.  Not that I'm ever caught up.  Until we can get this house organized - a place for everything and everything in its place - it will always be a mess no matter how much I try to clean it.  Hate that.
