Cabba where is that, I love it..the one of the rocks in the ocean...

OH my goodness!!!
Apparently it's been a week since I checked in here at BCO. Shaking my head? Is that true?? I think of all of you continually & am in a continuous loop prayer for everyone here that I carry in my heart & everyone on the entire site.
Last Saturday was the night of the red dress at hubby's high school reunion. LOL!!! We were completely 'over-dressed' for the occasion. We looked MARVELOUS, if I do say so myself. There were a few in jeans and most just wore casual. We looked like we were going to chaparone the high school home-coming. In retrospect, I think it may be better to be 'over' dressed than the opposite?? No matter we had so much fun. There was little dancing, but we got to dust off our 'swing' steps a tad.
Spar, so glad to see you pop thru. Here's a pic from the very end of the evening, back at our hotel:
He has taken off his tie by this point, but it was the exact shade of red as my dress.
Who wants to invite me to something 'appropriate' for my knee length dress. I would love to have another in another fabric!!! Great idea, Chabba.
Raj. I am so glad to see you checking in with us. We are on the road and while I'm on my laptop, the sun is so bright I can just barely see the pictures. I can only imagine the sorrow in the face of the unthinkable & unimaginable. Please know that we send you strength to support those whose lives have been 'broken' in the face of the unexplainable. There have been so many heart-breaking weather disasters. Please pop through when ever you are able.
I laughed & laughed over the thought of 'nature-porn.' Last summer I 'accidently' took a picture of buffalo "in-the-act"..... I was pointing my camera, when they were over-taken with their moment of passion. I just about passed out, it was so hilarious that would be the moment I clicked the button. Hubby deleated the picture before I downloaded.... honest to goodness.
I am so bummed about the FL get-together. I will be in Orlando at the time, but that is the week of our national convention -- that ends on Sat. Will anybody be staying until Sunday of that week?? I will be so exhausted, but would LUV LUV LUV to see folks. Mary, let me know.
Today was a HUGE and delightful day. I got to give the keynote for a grand gathering of early childhood folks along with all of the children's librarians of the area.
*******oh!!!!!!!!!!! I forgot to tell you!!!!!!! We have been in Colorado all week (we're back in OH right now) spending the week w our grandkids and meeting the new baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMGoodness. Baby Maisey-(Daisey: I say both) is the easiest going babe on the planet. DH says he thinks she may have 'cried' for a total of about 20 cumulative minutes in the 4 days we were there.
Such a cutie. Must get some of those pictures to blog, so I can get them here.
Best to each and all of those checking in & those reading along.

Chabba, makes me think I need a walk on the beach...maybe tomorrow
-
I could use a walk on the beach too. Just have to get through this round of tests and Dr. appointments. Today is Aredia (zometa) IV and a gallon og blood for all the blood tests, then CT scan, BS, new PS, and the PET and Bone Scan.
Looks like I may be heading to Monterey, CA the last week of October to be with my DD#1 for her surgery. She just needs her Mom there to help with the kids so she can get some rest after the surgery. One of these days I will slow down. -
