Wrong photo lol
-
So hard to find a nice photo of my black cat.
-
Oh mags how pretty all of you are!
-
Mags,
Your cats are so pretty. How on earth do you get them
to walk with you like that? If mine were with you she would be in the weeds walking anywhere but a path?
Cowgirl this made me think of you and taking care of your arm! hee-hee -
That would be me! Don't bring me down! I am paddling down the River Denial as fast as I can!
-
Okay you guys wanna see the farm. Course this was taken about 2 years ago.
Now this is where I live but it is fuzzy sorry we are in the fuzzy part of google earth. -
Wow Cowgirl that's fab. The cats do run off Carrie but they stay close they really like to walk with you. Is the sling helping Cowgirl? My doctor made me wear one for a while but i just felt so stupid in it. Not as stupid as i feel now with all the bandages. Love the goats. Would have liked to live on a farm for the animals but not the hard work lol
-
Mags,
I am not wearing a sling yet, but I am trying to get mentally prepared for it. -
Hi everyone.... Hope all are doing great.
Cowgirl: Hope your arm gets better soon. You goats are very good looking..Maybe I should post a pix of our 2 gold fish
Carrie:
Hope all goes well with your biopsy. The surgen sure gave you encouraging news
Also wanted to let you know that our vacation to Mejiiico was great. It was certaintly well deserved for my DW.
Now, we are getting prepared for her exchange surgery next week. That will be the last major milestone for this nightmare, we hope. I am glad it is coming to an end. Also hair is coming back and coming back strong! Nice to be coming back to normal.
Bye... -
Awww I wanna see Mexico Pix ! and it is not Bye it is Adios!
-
Hi everyone,
Love all the cute pictures!!!! It has been so fun to see everyones family! We have a Shih-TZu pup that is 5 months old naned Cindy and boy is she a handful, our kids got her for us at Christmas time.
Glad everyone is doing so well all in all. My hair is growing!!! But it used to be brown now it is black and gray.
I saw a lymphdema specialist on Fri. I have very mild lymphdema, but because I use my arms and hands for my work (Interpreting for Deaf students) all day I thought I better get a handle on it. Thats all for now folks!!!!
Love ya all
Kathy -
Wow--all these pics of animals/locations are great!
I tried to photograph the parakeet tonight (using my cellphone) but thought better of it as the light was poor and I didn't want to give the poor thing a heart attack from the flash!
Will try to do him and the guinea pigs in the near future.
Cowgirl: Thanks for the advice in re: the clover. Ours are pretty darn picky, though; they only eat their regular food and cucs and carrots. They turn up their little piggy noses at just about everything else!
Best,
Greg -
Alex: Welcome back. Sounds like the vacation was a good one. Glad to hear about the hair (I've given my wife a new nickname--which she likes: "fuzzy wuzzy.")
Good luck with the surgery next week and keep us posted.
Greg -
Hi everyone, yes Kathy my lymphedema specialist told me that if I don't take care of my arm now it will effect me for the rest of my life - mine is only mild now.
I would like to see the Mexico photos too Joanna.
Greg think it was a good idea not to use the flash on the parakeet lol. Can't wait to seen the guinea pig photos.
Can't imagine you chasing the goats around wearing a sling Cowgirl lol -
The only hard thing about Joanna is it could be her Hubby and I know it is. They have one user name and alternate, Joanna is a different type of poster!
Kathy we wanna see!
Greg I think you need daylight the poor little parakeet. And mine only eats carrots, she is extremely picky! I think Clover is a bit like Catnip for Cats. Hubby experimented with greens on her, dandilions are a no go. The things he comes up with!
I have been stalking my nephew's fawn doberman puppy, he is so much like Scooby Doo. All clumsy and big feet, he has no idea he is supposed to be a scarey dog, he is too scared to know it! His picture will arrive as soon as I can get a hold of him!
I used Google Earth for my location pictures, Carrie kept asking what it looked like. Texas farm land is very different from the cities. -
Hi everyone:
I came across a site and thought I would share it with everyone. Someone may already have posted this, I just didn't read all 9 pages.
It's Men Against Breast Cancer, supporting the Women they love.
http://www.menagainstbreastcancer.org/
The wesite itself has been up since 2000.
Hugsss
Barb -
Here are pictures of Greg's fur babies.
The poor little parakeet has had a rough life ! The poor little dear must go through life with a girls name and is a boy!
At least my puppy cat knows she is a girl! lol
Paloma
Flora , Stripes and Cuddles
Flora ,Stripes , Cuddles and black blob in center is Velvet -
Oh Greg they are soo cute!! Cali our guinea pig thinks Velvet is a Hottie! Get down girl no more monkey business for you, Hubby I told you to get her off the Clover!!
That is it back to your cage Cali, you are locked up till spring! -
Carrie: Many thanks for posting our furry and feathery friends! I can hardly wait for the film offers to start rolling in...
Cowgirl: Uh, Velvet is a girl (did you just "out" your guinea pig?) ;-0
Sheep-ishly,
Greg -
I can feel my allergies cranking up just looking at the cats and guinea pigs!
-
Greg,
I had no idea Cali was gay! She seems to like me best but I thought it was the mommy thing. Course she loves hubby during Clover season, that is the addict in her though!
I am allergic to cats too Shemp, and they seem to flock around me. It is like because I ignore them they want to be closer to me! -
Shemp: Everyone in my family is allergic to cats, otherwise I'd be happy to own one. Turns out we're not allergic to guinea pigs--but I'm very allergic to the hay we feed them (and I'll give you one guess who feeds them/cleans their cage...)
Cowgirl: I'm biting my tongue, bigtime, on this one girl--lest I say something that ain't PC ;-). I will, however, be on the lookout for clover this spring...
Greg -
Shemp: Congratulations on becoming a "member!" Did your certificate arrive in the mail, yet?
-
Greg you knew I would tempt you! It is one those things I just had to do it!
-
Cowgirl: I understand; a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. ;-)
Okay--that was a great pet roll-call--thanks, Carrie for getting that going. Now...it's time for a "people" roll call...Time for all the regulars and not-yet-so-regulars (and I ain't talking about your GI tract!) to check-in and let us know how they and their SO's are doing...
Who wants to be first? -
Greg I will!
As you know I am hurting, I probably tore my rotator cuff. I have called for an MRI appt. BC seems to be almost through, I have one more appt for fine touches of my reconstruction. I am headed to Dr on Thursday to deal with my back pain, yeah I know I need to rest don't start! Headed to Austin today for genetic testing(yuck I hate the traffic there).
Hubby is cattle rich and money poor, feeding cattle every other day because of the drought. He is trying to figure out and if he is going to plant any crops. He is still working too hard at the factory but the boys need big shoes so off he goes.
We went to a showmanship clinic last night, our goats now know Daddy is a very fast driver! That was such fun to see Bruce scream as he was in the trailer, he is so like chicken little. Hubby will be into the goats from here on out, making sure the boys are ready to show well. God Help us All! Boys listened about showing pigs, and still want to next year(OMG!). Hubby showed at Houston Livestock Show and won, he is tough as leather about showing pigs. He even discouraged them last year, they were not ready for Pig Boot camp with Dad. The older two say they are! It didn't help the presenters last night knew less than Daddy, and the boys know that Dad will get them the very best pigs and will work both boys and pigs till there is no doubt they will win. I just hope my nerves can handle it!
Gotta Go Kids are late Again!
My kids are lucky he is willing to do this! We will we see how much fun it is next year. So our goat count will probably stay the same we will just add two pigs. -
This is so funny , I happen to know one of the goats is scared of pigs! You will have to put him on prozac!
Oh and by the way, lets not forget Greg does have a poor
little male parakeet with a girls name cowgirl !!
I am doing ok , still waiting to hear from my Surgeon's
office on a date for my biopsy *ugh* the waiting is hard.
I have called 2 times and they keep saying we will be calling you back soon. If this keeps up he will be someone else's surgeon, I'm tired of this and ready to move forward!
My sister Denise (Deese) is doing good! She went through Rads with very little skin reaction and is now back to work full time.
Her Employer has been wonderful through all this and even gave her a raise when she came back!
She is on Arimidex for 5 yrs. and so far is having some
minor aches from it. We all went out together and partyed
this past Sat. to celebrate had a great time!! -
Cat fight on Somewhere Boys! I know how you love a good Cat Fight and it is Sisters!!!! Wow!!!!
-
Cowgirl: What are you referring to?
-
Hey everyone,
I have my surgery date, seems they were waiting for all my test results and my gyn hadn't sent my FNA until
today grrrr! (remind me to give him the evil eye the next time I see him!)
I go Tues. March 7th at 10:00 am .
So glad to be moving forward on this! I will be driving
my DH crazy the night before because I am afraid of going under every time I have surgery!
I will ask them to dart me with a happy shot at the front door!!LOL
