-
Hi Jenny, Also keeping you in my prayers. SharonH
-
Thanks again everyone....appt is at 12pm Pure. It is true, today it seemed to be better, like it was going away...that always happens when you go to the dr. Each of you are the best!!
-
So happy to hear you say that. Not as big a deal, but I had MX 5 weeks ago and yesterday my hand swelled up. Pretty significantly, I could barely move my fingers it was so swollen. I called the onc today and have an ultrasound tomorrow at 1 pm to rule out a blood clot. Sure enough, my hand is not nearly as swollen now as it was. I am happy, but will feel like an idiot going to get an ultraound tomorrow if it's not that swollen.
Good luck tomorrow!

-
Hope all went well on Friday...Did you still have the test? Has it gotton better over the weekend?
-
(((((hugs)))))
I hope the results are innocuous! Or as the medical charts like to say "unremarkable"! I just love that term for "everything's OK." -
???????? What's the word Jenny????????????????
Sharon -
Sorry guys been busy. I did the test, no word yet and it's about the same....can't wait till Wed. or can I

-
Jenny -
I've been off the boards for a while but was checking up tonight (can't sleep!). Aromasin was nasty to me. The headaches were constant. The joint or tendon pain (I could never figure out which) was getting worse with each day. I just wouldn't be surprised if you are in the minority and have this SE from Aromasin. The hot flashes I used to get -- makes the hot flashes I get on Tamox like a warm front moving in instead of the fires from below!
I had two brain MRIs while on Aromasin. Both came back clear. I'm sure that your scans will be clear also!
-
Good luck tomorrow.... We'll be thinking of you...
-
Hi, I am right here. I am thinking of you.Wishing you the best for tomorrow SharonH

THINKING GREAT THINGS FOR JENNY TODAY!
-
prayers for Jenny being sent right now. We're with you.
-
Thanks everyone, if I could I'd hug you all, your support means so much to me. I just got back from the dr. and my MRI was fine, they don't see anything wrong. My onc thinks it's a SE from the Aromasin, I think it's LE, she says she has never seen it go up to the jaw area. She wants me to go off AI for a month to see if things get better & I am getting a referral to a LE specialist. I am so happy & relieved.
I told my DH that I feel like I'm swiming & trying to keep my head above water and someone keeps grabbing my leg and keeps pulling me back under....that is what life after BC feels like. You finally feel like you're moving on and then oops, there a new pain and here we go again. I am just over a year out though
Thanks again, I hate that I had BC but I'm glad it brought me here to ya'll. Hugs. -
Thank GOD!!!!!!!!!! I had to skip to the end of your post..I had to go straight to knowing you were ok! Yeah celebrate!
-
Feeling very good for you!
-
I am very happy to see that you have punched cancer right in the face with your clear MRI scan! Jennyboog... one up, cancer.....zero.....I know you will have a good night tonight!
-
Woo Hoo!!! So happy for you. I can imagine how relieved you must be. I am seeing an LE specialist (physical therapist) on Thursday. We can compare notes, but mine is in my arm.
You know, I did have jaw pain during chemo. I wasn't able to open my mouth all the way. But it wasn't burning or tingling. I hate all these crazy SE's almost as much as I hate BC.
Any way, another sigh of relief for you. Enjoy the week.
