Thanks! no word.  but dh isn't in the office that I gave the fax number of until after 1230.

maybe mom's friends dd will have some luck.

jen-I believe that other nodes in my groin might light up, but not in my chest.  he is running the chest cat scan because he can't feel under my big implants.lol.  as he put it, these things take up half your body. bahahahaha.  well, it's the rack for a reason.

Ok I am patiently checking back in. I cannot believe that NONE of your covert (and overt) attempts at an early reveal have been successful!

*sigh* I hate waiting! I can't imagine how antsy you must be. Glad you tried today, try again tomorrow and maybe you'll get results.

no news.  I ended up calling the onc at the end of the day and they 'claimed' the results weren't in the system.  I am waiting on scheduling my zometa so I used that as an excuse for the call.  then I sequed into...oh, are my results in?  nope.  so, dh didn't get them either.  and mom's friends daughter didn't work.  she works today.  so, we will see.

I specifically asked the nurse at onc's, well, can I get the results over the phone.

I got a vague...well, we will call you if it's anything urgent.  that doesn't mean we will call you with any bad news, it means if we think you will die or end up hospitalized by tuesday and can't otherwise wait.  hmmmm.

now, Adrienne, who shares the same dr and hospital said she didn't get her cat scan results for three days.  So, I am thinking cat scan results take longer than bone and mri?  which is very possible, I really don't know.

to be fair, they did tell me 2-3 days.  but sometimes faster.

saw my therapist yesterday.  She completely agrees that life is just not fair.  which was the subject of my visit yesterday.

    Aww, hugs.

Makes one appreciate the ER. Results are immediate.

Hope you get your benign results today and then start onc shopping. Because I for one blame all this on him.

i think it is wise to explore all options. A swollen node can certainly be an indication of lymphoma.  Btw i have two brothers who have been successfully treated and are symptomless for hodgkins and leukemia.  I imagine the wasp thing  (3 stings!) is a reason for the swelling.  those nodes do a lot of work.  Please don't worry.

Cori, I'm with Ratbait. It seems like a big leap to lymphoma, and unfair of him to throw that out there at you. Even the 5 day number is sort of bizarre, who wouldn't freak out about that.  I've had hip pain from herniated disc and at one point I had some groin pain/tenderness b/c the tight muscle was pulling my whole pelvis out of alignment, so there are lots of benign things (like wasp stings) that could be going on. I hope you get good results soon.

    I'm negative for metastatic disease!

I broke down this morning and called the hospital.  they said the results were at the drs.  so I said I wanted them to my family dr.  they said family dr would have to send over request.  So, I had my sister mock up something, had a dr that works for dan sign off on it and sent it over.  within 5 minutes dan had the results.  I haven't read them but he did.  no cancer.  a cyst on my hip not suspected of being malignent.  evidence of a stress fracture (dan said from running but I don't believe him) that has healed. nothing in abdomen or lungs other than an apparantly full colon.  well, when one eats nothing but kale and quinoa it brings with it a lot of fiber.

    very relieved.

I am going to pursue to low white count by visiting an allergist and seeing if they think it's from allergies.  I probably need to deal with my sudafed addiction anyway.

I would have posted her earlier but I was garage saleing and didn't have my ipad with me..

Found a Kate Spade purse for 2 bucks!

Wow, that is so awesome!   Two bucks???

Seriously, that is great about the results.  Very happy for you!  I had quinoa and kale at lunch in your honor.  (it was delicious!)
