    Jazzy - we have a contract with La Scena.  The only way we could do this would be if we went there early and left at 9pm to get to La Scena by 9:30........

    First of all thank you Anniese for the pm.  Below you will find a cost estimate for the trip that I just got from our sister anniese

    Friday Meet & Greet - no cost to attend (other than drinks you might buy)

    Friday La Scena - no cover charge, spend approx. $12 p/person at your table to meet the $50 p/table reservation agreement

    Saturday Kahunaville - approx. $10 to $15 p/person (depending on what you order)

    Saturday Piano Bar - $15 cover charge, cost of drinks you purchase

    Sunday Bellagio Brunch - $31.46 w/o Champagne; $37.77 with Champagne p/person (includes tax and 18% tip)

    Sunday Fremont Street - no charge, but plan for approx $20 transport fee ($10 each way, assuming shared rides/taxi)

    Sunday Rhumbar - no cover charge, cost of drinks you purchase

     I will try to post the schedule again sometime this weekend.

    No changing things this late Jaz!! You'll send me into a coronary...lol. Other Laura...thank you for putting the prices together for us...I am like G.dog this week at work....crazy busy so I can leave next week....thanks for the help ...u rock...:). Journey....I always wear dresses and such....but they ate casual and comfy. Tubetop dresses and flats....makes me feel like I am in a nightgown...lol. everyone should dress comfortable for them. Love you sweet sisters....our time is coming near.....as I make the cell cards...it is so warming to see all the ladies returning again...and to see 10 new ladies....I hate that we met like this....but my heart is warmed when I see you want to become part of our sisterhood. I makes me remember me and Traceyz.....PMing back and north in 2008.....talking about......." do you thing we should do a get together.......can I use your name...."The Tata Sisterhood?".....etc....." amazing....I feel so blessed to be part of something this BIG. To take something so horrid....as BC......and turn it into this beautiful thing called FRIENDSHIP AND SISTERHOOD......Thank you sweet women for taking that leap of faith back in 08'....and coming to Vegas ...not knowing a soul.......and thank you every woman who did the same thing in 09-10-and now.....2011. GOD BLESS US!

    Journey - I'm with you. We should not change our plans. There is a lot about the Komen organisation I do not like and have no particular interest in supporting it.

    Gisella thanks for the break down.. All sounds good to me.

    Last year my bill at the piano bar was quite high but worth.. I went out shopping for a dress tonight and can home empty handed :(  I just can't find anything that I really like.. I may end up in a pair of dress capris and a cute dressy shirt.. Since I have the round about cost of everything I may go look tomorrow at lunch if I can escape for a few hours :) I am getting soooo excited.

    The good news is last years dress was a size 14 and this years (if I find one) is a 10!  :)

    Gisella -- wow you guys did good this year!  All the costs so reasonable!  I am glad we will not change things at the last minute... as I agree with Journey that I'm a little tired of all the pink groups.  We are the Ta Tas! 

    Cindy/Hillck -- wahoooooo so excited to meet you at the Bellagio Brunch!  You are going to have to carry a big sign so I can find you :) 

    I am really looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones this year!  Can't believe we'll be doing exactly that a week from tomorrow!

    I got the email yesterday on the Komen function but figured it was out as we already have reservations at LaScena which was a BLAST last year!!!   I remember many of us taking off our shoes to get a taxi as our feet were so sore from dancing and they were BLACK from all of the grime!

    I am going to either have to go buy a dress or another pair of shoes as there is no way I can wear my bronze heels to dance for hours which goes great with my gold dress.  I guess I am heading to Steinmart this weekend.

    I am coming in Thursday between 10 am and noon.  Is there a get together scheduled for Thursday for those early arrivals? ummmmm partiers?

    Jancie......... Heymoose is working on the Thursday meet.... for us early sista's. I think she was thinking in the evening... as all who are coming Thursday..... will be in by night fall. PM her and she what she might be thinking. I am sure she is going to post this on our FB and here by early next week.

    Oh Wow!!! Getting so excited for Vegas.  To see a lot of you that I had time to meet and visit with last year and hope to get time to visit with a whole lot more this year.

    Just so you girls know, there's a breast cancer event on Friday night at the Tropicana.
    Here is the info:




    The all new Tropicana Las Vegas has partnered with the Southern Nevada Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® to launch Pink October, its first ever breast cancer awareness campaign, in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 



    On Friday, September 30th, Tropicana will host Fashionably Pink at their fabulous Nikki Beach and “flip the switch” to turn the property pink!  Please join us and host/emcee Mercedes from Mix 94.1 as we enjoy wonderful food and drinks, browse the amazing merchandise provided by vendors and, of course, celebrate survivorship.  And for the men, you will not be left out!  There will be a special Man Cave dedicated to the gentlemen who attend!! 



    Fashionably Pink will be from 7pm-10pm and tickets are only $20 if purchased prior to the 30th and $25 at the door.  And the first 200 to enter will receive goodie bags filled with incredible gifts!!

    Oops, I didn't see that Jazzy already posted this and everyone seems against it. Since I volunteer for SGK and do speeches for early detection for them, I will most likely be at the Trop party. A bunch of girls went to the Paint the Square Pink party 2 years ago and it was fun. Oh well! Sounds like you're all going to have a great time that weekend. It's my birthday on Sunday, so I don't know if I will make it out for the other events. :)

    Good Morning VEGAS Bound Beauties,

    All right, I can't believe we will all be together in 5 days.  The wait is killing me. 

    The pre party on Thursday will be at the Rhumbar, starting between 9:00 and 9:30 pm.  Some Ta Ta's do not arrive in Vegas until 8:30 pm.  This will give them some time to arrive at the hotel and meet us. 

    For those going to Elton John, the show is at 7:30 pm at the Colosseum at Ceasars Palace.  I will have the tickets at Brunch. 

    If you have any questions for me, please either pm me or if you have the phone card from last year my no. is the same, so you may text or call me.  I will not have computer access after Tuesday night. 

    Just think in 5 days we will be together in VEGAS, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

    And missing all those that could not join us this year.

    I know it's going to be hot OUTSIDE in Vegas, but what about inside? Sometimes these places have the AC running full blast and it's freezing inside! Any memories from last year? I used to be tough and could take the cold - now I'm wimpy and always putting a sweater on. (Or my cardie!)

    Gillyone--I had a sweater/jacket with me most of the time last year. I don't remember being too cold but I know I layered and tried to be prepared.

    ....we have lots of ladies coming in between noon and 2 Thursday....we will all connect. Just get cell numbers before you leave home. Call who you choose when u get there.
