Thinking Out Loud.....

I'm not freakin out anymore about my TM's. After reading about what can cause abnormal readings I am convinced the fibroids in my uterus are causing it. I just had to know why, I told my onc that I was tired of the waiting game and wanted scans. She told me she had no problem ordering them for me. She knows I am pro-active about this because of my Mom.
-
One more zap of the laser and the tattoo will be gone.
-
All my Doctors are male except my MH.
Either way it doesnt bother me.
What kind of scans Deb?
-
Perfect day to put the summer clothes away.
-
yea what kind of scans Deb
Onc is male, primary is female, gyno, have to get another one they didn't take my new insurance.
How is everybody doing?
It is raining here and is expected to be doing same all week, it is going to be in the 70's all week....want to be able to enjoy things again, that will happen soon, or at least after Zometa....
-
Hey Blondie.............here we go, back into the swim again..........what is with all this rain....where was it in July and August when I needed it for the new garden my son had put in the front of my house..................1/2 the shit died........I could not keep up with the watering............standing with a hose just didn't do it.......................my son said everything is guaranteed, so I guess before next season we will have it all replaced.................I mean stuff is "dead"...............there is just no hope. ..not all of it, but a tree (which I hated anyway) really bit the dust..........oh well...............nothing worse then rain, and damp weather, and it looks like we're headed that way all week..........Wanted to go to the Franklin and Marshall game on Saturday, and now they are saying rain for then too...........don't mind the rain, but my "rides" won't go if it is raining.........2 grandsons are starters, and I love football...........stay dry Blondie..........

I had a CT scan and vaginal US. Showed uterine fibroids, small area of fatty part on one of the lobs of my liver cuz of cholesterol, that can also cause the CA27-29 to be slightly abnormal. I also have degenerate of the osseous skeleton and enlarged unpathological axillary lympnodes shown bilateral. In 2003 I had vaginal US and that showed 3 fibroids and they are unchanged according to the recent US.
-
Deb..How and why they ordered vaginal US. I never had one. Do i need it?
ducky....I was trimming my grapefruit plant (I't almost a tree now) and I was bitten by some bugs, all over my body, just came out from the shower. It still feels like they are crawling. It's 67 and humid.
Linda...Are you back yet?
Chris & Diane where are youuuuuuuuuuuuu??????????????????????
Sandy...i hope you are feeling little better.
(((((TOL)))))

I had a vaginal when I was preggers with the twin 18 years ago that was it.....
Have a good night all!!
-
In 2003 when I had my yearly, the PA-C could feel the fibroids upon the examination when she pressed on my lower abdomen will the fingers are up there.
That is when she ordered the exam. I was told they should go away with age after menopause, NOT!!! Still there with no change. -
I had the CT scan and US about a month ago.
-
I am here. It went well. No problems. Did I tell you I didn't tell DH about the appointment? He goes to every appointment with me and I wanted to start going alone. He does not need to take time off from work for this. So, I drove myself into Boston, a HUGE anxiety problem for me.....but I did it! No alcohol involved.....just some lorazepam. I'm so proud of myself.
Still hate contractors, electricians, plumbers, flooring people.......
-
You Go Girl!!
-
Yes you go girl.
-
Yay Linda! I don't think I could find my way into or around Boston.
Sorry to hear you were/are sick, Sandy! Gees - you deserve a break!
Migraine today - took 4 Excedrin migraines over the course of the day - now my stomach hurts - but the headache is gone (for now - hope it stays that way.)
Left all my studying until today - dummy. Didn't finish all the problems and wasn't sure how to do the last ones I was working on, but got 100 on the quiz anyway... Better get back to it and figure it out.

Good Morning. Tile man is coming today to do the kids bathroom. I'm sure I'll be hating him by 5 oclock!
Hope your headache is gone, Chris.
Waiting for the sun to shine, lots of fog!
-
Tile man anything to look at?
Hope your headache is gone Chris
Thanks guys feeling better but Zometa today.....scheduled a meeting a with a parent and the school for tomorrow, idiot I am cause will be sick but need to go.
Michael is here for the 3rd day says he is sick, I see this year repeating last year, he is supposed to graduate, so scared for him, what to do. He has the best intentions, the follow through is the problem..
Have a good day all!!
-
Headache is gone - thanks for asking.
Hope the tile man does a good job today!
Hope the Zometa is kind to you and you feel well for your meeting tomorrow, Sandy. Hope Michael feels better. Remind him he doesn't want to undo his hard work last summer. One day at a time. He can do this. ((((((HUGS)))))))
Ordered senior pictures yesterday. Extortion I tell you. OMG they are so expensive!!!! There isn't going to be any money left for college by the time she finishes senior year of high school! I won't even tell you how much the packages are, but to add an 8x10 or 2 5x7's to a package would cost $56! What the...? I usually spent $60 on the whole package and I thought that was too much.

Our annual band competition that we host is this Saturday - DD's last one. (I'm going to cry.) Weather looks iffy. Local weather guys say chance for a shower or two. I hope it doesn't rain at all. Hoping all the rain moves out Friday.
-
lol. No. He is a small Asian man. I like him the best and since I'm hating all men, that's impressive. He showed up on time, doesn't talk much, no loud music (or any for that matter) and gets straight to work. Love him!
Sandy, happy to hear you are feeling a little better, hang in there. I hope Michael figures school out and goes. It doesn't matter if he does well, just go and get it over with. XOXO
Have fun at the band competition. Sad when they start wrapping things up and you no longer need to go.

I am here, but far from often enough. Between contractors, sub-contractors, shower prep, and searching for a place to live, I am wiped out! It is really hard to find temporary housing that will take a dog. These are the times when I think it would be nice to be surrounded by family willing to help.
After Saturday, I will have one thing off my plate. DDIL asked me how long the shower was going to take. I think about the time, care, and money that went into this and feel so insulted that she is planning her exit before she gets here. She says she has about two hours tolerance. I am wondering why she asked me to do it. Maybe she could just have fun.
Congratulations on the successful drive into Boston. Even having grown up there, I find it daunting. Here, where we are all passive/aggressive drivers, we lose the skills necessary to be a truly successful Boston driver. Scares me to do it now.
Two of DS''s best friends are secretly flying in as a surprise to him at the shower. They are planning to stay with me. They both really appreciate food, so I am looking forward to cooking for them.
Ok, off to make a to-do list for DH. He's not gonna be happy. Why can't husbands see the mess we see?
((((Sand))))
Did anyone read the article yesterday about how stress increases the aggression of cancer?
-
It's so nice to see you are all here.

Diane...You are doing more than your best sooo she must really have issues with real life. She will still be the mother of your FGC......Hugs
Sandy...maybe this treatment will have less SE. I'm thinking of you we all are ♥
Linda's Asian man lol lol............
chris so glad to hear you are feeling better today
-
BTW, I have nothing against asian men. When I re read what I wrote, it sounded pathetic! I like Asian men, actually all men
with the exception of the ones working in my house! -
OK time to move and be productive.
See you later ♥
(((TOL)))
-
And I've been humming Secret Asian man all morning......I didn't take your comment with any sort of negativity, Linda...
-
LOL
Diane - I hope DIL's short tolerance level is due to her being tired from being pregnant... I hope the shower goes great, the guys love your cooking, and you find a great place that takes dogs soon! I don't know why men don't see the mess. Children don't seem to it either... They're just great at creating it.
Went for a "run" earlier. I've been trying to do my loop and then walk the beginning of half a loop and finish "running" the rest. Sun was hot, but I did it. Stopped after the loop to guzzle OJ and water. I think I'm on the dehydrated side lately because I'm trying to avoid soda so I'm not drinking as many fluids. I don't really like water so I don't drink as much of it as I should - unless I've just exercised - then I drink gallons.
DS's birthday today. He's 15. My babies are growing up. He said he left this morning a 14 yr old and returned a 15 yr old. He was born at 11:50am. I was confused because DD was born at 5:53am and I had that time in my head. Too old to keep anything straight anymore...Duh.
-
See I am a b...Diane and i would make it 2 1/2 hours, how dare she is your son going to be there? Tell us about the food, what the prizes are, games, etc.. screw her, I know I know wench I am she is really being ungrateful.
Anyway went for the poison TM went down to 57 from starting at 283 is it is working....but glad I came off that wit the side effects.
You can run for me, I feel like I can barely walk!!!
-
Sandy - that is great news about your tumor markers~
This is a co-ed gender neutral baby shower. There is only one game, a Formula 1 race with the stroller. I forgot about prizes, so thank you!!!! Will get on that tomorrow.
Food is lots of appetizers - seared beef on crostini, bruschetta with goat cheese and figs, fried mac and cheese balls (DS request), caramelized onion flatbread, fruit salad, caprese salad, two kinds of skewers - one beef, one shrimp and then lemon squares. They requested mojito's, so that is what they are getting along with lemonade and ice tea. We have a bet she leaves here without saying thank you to us.
Ok, off to think about prizes!!!
