I just came back from Greek Festival had a wonderful time.
Great food, music, flea market. I was chilly.
lalalalalalalalaaaaaaaaa
-
Sounds like fun! What did you eat?
-
I had Gyro, feta spinach stuffed with fillo, baklava and some other desserts I dont know the english names. They had such a variety of food. I was god didnt buy any dessert to bring it home for tomorrow. I wish I did.
-
I'm gonna make myself a cup of tea. I'm frozen
-
Sounds yummy!
-
So glad you had a good time at the Greek festival. Hope you thawed out quickly. I didn't finally thaw out until about 3:45 when I woke up freezing and put on my sweats. Got back late from the game last night. It was fun even though we lost. Saw the UConn band play and DD stood for a while with the band and got to see some of her friends from high school band. Got home ~1am. Took a long time to get out of there - AND we had FIL with us so we had to find a way for DH to be able to come back to where we were to get us. Luckily, the road he needed to take to get out went by where we were. Otherwise, I don't know HOW we would have gotten FIL out of there. FIL and MIL use MIL's handicap tag. He didn't have it because BIL still had it from their last outing. FIL now realizes they really need another one for him. Hopefully he will get one. Luckily, the lamp post near where we needed to wait by the side of the road for DH to pick us up had a base that was just the right height so FIL could sit on it while we waited. We had waited as long as we could inside the stadium until we were told they would be locking the gates soon. Somehow, it worked out.

Chris you had your excitement for last night but feeling frozen is the most terrible feeling. We had heat so I cant complaint.

Good Morning All. I hope you are all having a productive day.
See you later.........................................................

Sounds like a fun night Chris. I am still HOT even though its cold outside. I still sleep with the fan in the window and have horrible hot flashes and night sweats. Hope they subside soon.
We had soccer today, we lost 1-0. Did lots of prep work ont h house, sanding walls, met with carpet people, tile people. Still need to find a vanity top. Found one in granite for the kids but I do not want granite for my bath. i will never find what I want. oh well.

Sorry you have such horrible sweats. I hate waking up dripping with sweat. I've been lucky lately that I haven't woken up like that too often. Makes me wonder if the tamox is working if that isn't happening to me much anymore...
I feel bad. My SIL called this morning. She's not sure if her son is sick and she has a birthday breakfast to go to this morning. Her son vomited Thursday and then acted fine afterward. Then Friday, they thought he was acting a little off so they kept him home from school, but he didn't get sick. Then this morning he said his stomach hurt. Two hrs later, he had some hot chocolate and then vomited, but then went on to act as if nothing happened (he's almost 5). So she doesn't know if he's sick or what. She wanted to leave him with me while they went to the breakfast, but my kids have the band competition show that we host next weekend. It would be awful if my DD -who is a senior - missed it because she was sick. She already has a cold and is having coughing fits on occasion while trying to play. We're hoping she can shake it before next weekend. So I said I'd rather not. She completely understood and said it would be bad if DD missed her last band show. I still feel like a jerk.
-
Good Morning
chris...You didnt do anything jerky of course your DD comes first and SIL understand that.
Linda...Good luck for finding what you are looking for.

-
I will read later, eyes still watering and can't read right, can't wait til this crap is about of my system, and to think I should have started it again on friday, feels like it almost killed me, it better have works, but not going on that doseage again..
-
((((((((Sandy)))))))) - hope it clears your system soon! ♥
Good luck finding something you like, Linda. This house needs so much work, I don't think it will ever be nice. And it almost doesn't matter because it will take so long to get it the way I would like it, I won't even care at that point - the kids will be grown. DH is in a pissy mood - probably tired after the campout or something - so now I'm in a bad mood. Grrrrr.

I still get hot flashes, but hope they go away when I am off Arimidex.
I went to the ocean today and ate at Browns in Seabrook, NH. Had Lobstah Bisque, Lobstah and s few onion rings that Karen shared with us. It was a perfect day. Came home route 1 along the coast and took a nice video of the ocean. Brought home some smooth rocks too.
-

-
Sounds fun, Deb.
Tomorrow is my BS day. Good luck today!
-
Good luck to everyone having BS appts. Reminds me I need to schedule an appt with my med onc. She canceled my appt in April - which was just as well as I had just seen both my BS and my gyn. Didn't think it was necessary to be felt up a third time in the same timeframe. And I don't want to pay for 2 appts with her - not sure it's necessary. So I decided unless they called me and really wanted me to come in, I would wait and just go in the fall. Of course they didn't call. If I never showed up again, I'm sure they wouldn't notice. I hate that about doctors. Better call and make an appt.
I hope your hot flashes go away, too, Deb. Glad you had a perfect day at the ocean yesterday.
Sheila - I don't get the dog references... Do you mean, do you deserve a treat like all good puppies do? If so, then yes!
-
Had my BS and mam in June, still have not decided whether I want to have an MRI. Next onc appt is December 2nd, BW a week B4 that.
Oh yes, an eye appt Oct 26th.
-
How did it go today Sheila?? I've been thinking about you!
-
hi...Like i said before I love my BS. He likes to explain things and he enjoys it. I just got a breast exam and lots of TLC.
Deb...About TM he said there is no cuch thing as 0. Another word anybody can have that test you dont have to be a C patient and he said it can go up and down by couple of points which is fine as long as it doesn go up drastically. He checked my 3 years ago BW and TM were 19. Now it's 27.
Linda good luck tomorrow.
Yes chris that's what I meant LOL.
Sandy wishing you all the good things and be careful with your eyes. HUGS♥
In October I'm scheduled for so many DR appointments. Oncologist, primary, MH, dentist
and need to make an appt with GYN. I dont think I really need pap smear every year. That's what I have been told. We'll see.
What a beautiful day it was today. I cooked all evening.

I'm grateful for my MH
-
I didnt mean TLC during the Breast Exam.
-
Yes you did, lol!
Glad to hear MH is good!
-
There is one thing i need to complaint....I'm frozen
-
All my doctors a female. I wouldn't have it any other way.
-
Mine are too Deb. Some people don't care the ex of their doctor. I brought my 16 year old son to have a physical today with his female doctor. I asked him if he wanted to swtich doctors and see a man. He asked me why? He loves his doctor.
Did you get the tattoo removed?
