    I agree Diane!

And I'm not 'in' in my bedroom.....still no door.  Plaster is drying.  Hopeful for doors soon.  Everything is backordered.  I hate that!

    Good morning all!

Linda - you are always the one with the kids at your house and sleepovers - I think some of those moms owe you and should take your guys for a night.

Sheila - what is that picture in MA?

Went to 2 Walmarts, Walgreens and Target, did check on line but needed/wanted it now.  Have to go to CVS and Rite Aid, probably tomorrow...did ask the pharmacy and they didn't seem to want to help, e-mailed the company and they told me where to look, so I will when I go back.

I'm studying.  Got the book Tuesday - apparently there were 5 chapters that we were supposed to read for Tuesday - according to the syllabus we got on Tuesday.  There is info in the chapters that wasn't covered in class, so I'm trying to cram it into my mushy brain.  And trying to learn today's 10 drugs.  Estrace, Xanax, and Ativan are on the list - I know all about those from reading on these boards - lol.  Cannot get the generic for Xanax   alprazolam in my head!  Well, the quiz is multiple choice, so if I go blank, I will probably remember when I see the choices.  Not good practice for the real world so I will try to learn them for real.  I need a nap.

I finally found a Dermatology Clinic in my local hospital ( I hope im not repeating myself)

It's next month. My scalp is very busy. Once chris said maybe my hair was growing again.

It could be in general the hair got little thicker the last 4 weeks. But the front is still thin.

Well I'm just thinking out loud. Innocent

Linda - obviously, I get that about contractors.

Sheila - the back of my hair has gone all thick and curly, the rest is straight.  Fairly itchy.  I was given some shampoo by the dermatologist, clobesterol, that really helped the itch.  The wacky curl and s-curve are here to stay.

Family weekend in the mountains starts tomorrow.  Think good thoughts because you know who is coming.  Today I went and planted about 15 plants at their house for her.  I shoveled until sweat was pouring down my face and thinking "this helps my son, this helps my son".  A miracle happened - for the first time, the very first time since I met her, she said thank you.  Woo-hoo.  The shower is next weekend, Sandy!  I can do it!

Wow - that was so nice of you to plant those plants for them.  You are a good mom and MIL.  My parents have done so  much for me - especially when the kids were little - I feel kind of pathetic - like I can't do anything for myself.  But I can't even express how much I appreciate how much they've done for me.  I hope I have the opportunity to do for my kids what my parents did for me.  I don't think so, though.  There are 2 of them (only one of me) and I don't think I will ever be able to make enough money to be able to give them as much as I would like.

IT'S FREEZING!!!!!!    I'm with Sheila- 80 and no humidity, please.  And it's windy to add insult to injury.  We're already not used to it being 60 - it has to be windy on top of it?

Trying to get motivated to go for a "run."  Dr. didn't have much to say - all my bloodwork was good.  Vit d was only 44 - up from 28 at the end of '09 - so that's not very impressive.  Now I want to take more vit d - maybe 3000 units instead of 2000?  She said no, but maybe I'll do it anyway.  I'm already taking 2000 instead of the 1000 she told me to take.  I have trouble following directions.   She didn't have the results of the echo. She said it might still tell her something even though they told me it was normal.  She called in a Rx for Ambien for me.  She thinks maybe I'm just sleep deprived.  I said since I'm so tired, I've actually been sleeping better - but she said it might not be good sleep - with delta waves.  She said the Ambien and Lunesta make you go through the sleep cycle(s?) where you have the delta waves.  Maybe I'll try it.  Hope I don't get up in my sleep and do weird things like some people do.  It's a low dose, so hopefully not.

Going to a football game tonight.  I am going to freeze to death!  I want to wear my snow pants and my winter coat!  But I would feel stupid, so I will suffer and freeze.  It's better to look good than to feel good. (SNL)

I belong in Hawaii, then.  I consider anything under 78 winter too!

They didn't spoil me as a child - but as an adult, yes, I am a spoiled only child.  I gave them 2 sweet grandchildren though- I hope that makes a dent in the debt I owe them.

Chris - Ambien is one of my best friends.  I only take 1/2 when I take it and I feel so much different in the morning - you know, like I slept :)

I'll go to Hawaii too.  I bet we will all sleep better there!  I take lorazepam to help me sleep when needed.  I love it.

I take about 5,000 IU's of D3 a day.  Doc knows but doesn't approve, yet my D levels are still low.  Rising, but still low.

How long do they think it's okay for the number to rise?  It's been almost 2 yrs and she seems to think that because it has risen it's okay.  Hmmm...to listen to the doctor or not listen to the doctor, that is the question...  I could use a nap right now.  To some degree, it's my own fault.  I go to sleep too late and get up when everyone else is leaving the house - by then I can't sleep anymore.  I think she said she's giving me a 5mg dose of Ambien - I could have misheard her.  Diane, do you take half of 5mg or half of a higher dose?  I'm just wondering how small a dose works.

I didn't go for my run.  Couldn't make myself go out in the cold.  I'm cold inside.  Now I'm too tired and if I go later, my hair won't be dry before I have to freeze at the football game. (Can't use the hairdryer - wicked frizz from the chemo curls.)  So I will put it off yet another day.  Wednesday, I didn't go because of the rain - Thurs, I had class, today is cold and tired...no wonder I can't lose weight.  Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow.  (I'm feeling Shakespearean today.)

I have been taking d3 for about 1.5 years.  I was on the RX for it too.  My level was something like 15 before I started and then I took mega doses (50,000 IU's a week).  I got my level up to 50 ish and backed off the D, maybe took 3,000 a day.  My level dropped back into the 20's so I now take 50,000 of D3 about 2 times a month and try to take 3-5,000 daily.  DH does it to.  Good luck.
