Email about misuse?

I received an email from this site saying that due to misuse, my ability to report posts violating the community rules has been revoked and that I can only send a "handful" of Pm's a day and that my account may be suspended.I have not posted to this site in a long time,today I did send a PM in response to one I had gotten.Has anyone else experienced this?It seems like a scam since they use the term "handful" instead of a specific amount.Is there anyway to contact the moderators about this?

    If you go to Forum Index you will see contact us.  You can send an email with your questions.

    That's weird. It clearly shows that you haven't been on here since September 3rd, until today that is! Could someone have gotten into your account by chance? Hope you get it figured out!

    We are sorry for this mistake and you have done nothing wrong.  It is a technical glitch that we thought we had corrected.  Thank you for sending us a PM since that is the best way to alert us of this problem.
