Good results today for mum

Hi all, i just want to say what a great forum this is and gives u alot of hope.

I am writing on behalf of my mum, she was diagnosed in feb 09 with stage 3 grade 3 cancer, 17 out of 18 lymph nodes were positive and a 4.5cm tumour. So it was a terrifying diagnosis, she had macetomy  6 tc and 6 cmf chemo sessions, femara, rads for 5 weeks, and is currently on zometa every 6 months so i think they threw all the treatment at her.

Anyway she had a sore lower back and was sent for a ct scan of thorax, chest and pelvis and we got the results today there is no sign of cancer 2 years and half later. we were told there is a 75% chance the cancer will never return with all the treatment received. I just want to say to people there is always hope no matter how bad the inital diagnosis the number of positive lymph nodes was very concerning, but with the treatment available people are beating this
