2 months post mastectomy

I finished my chemo 4 months ago, mastectomy 2 months ago and am currently in radiation.  Yesterday I found a lump in the same location as the original tumor.  What is the likelyhood the cancer came back that quickly?

    I don't know the statistics.  It's possible though.  I recurred five months after treatment, with mets to the liver.  That was ALL treatment though.  My oncologist said he'd never seen anybody recur while on treatment, which you still are.

     Considering you are currently on radiation, I would think it might be scar tissue, or something irritated by the rads.  Show it to your radiation oncologist - see if you can get to see him/her tomorrow while you are doing your treatment.
