Nadal lost - the most incredible tennis match I've eve seen.  I'm exhausted from just watching! Agree with Blue "intent" - and that's why I reponded as I did - but am definitely ready to IGNORE, big time.  Tho, get those SAME BLUE GIGGLES when I think of someone posting to complain cuz being on IGNORE means no PM's.

    HAHAHA's backatcha Blue Laughing

Off to say goodnight to the Moon - sleep tight all, especial thanks to Athena for those gorgeous pictures.

Welcome back, sunflowers - ask for lioness pictures any time!

Ann - thanks for your response. I am only 10 percent er+ and 1 percent pr+ - it doesn't make sense to me to bet the whole vineyard on 11 percent. Besides, as you say, the topic of hormones and breast cancer is something of a misconception (is there anything widely believed about breast cancer that is actually true? Sometimes I wonder). The bigger culprit may be progestin, not estrogen. Anyway, we will see what the doctor says on Friday.

Blue - it was all about the intent and the history to me. I agree.

Had the most wonderful day - spent it with Enjoyful - lunch and a movie (Contagion) - cough....cough.  E - GO train had some sort of problem it never came didn't get home until 8:35 am just now having dinner - good thing we stopped at Timmy's.  Susan loved meeting you "why can't Enjoyful come and live in Canada with us?" (I agree).

Top o' the mornin' to all! Very nice, medically unassisted sleep with normal, non vivid or disturbing dreams (I actually dreamt I was decorating a home, which was pleasant - maybe partly influenced by talk of wedding planning here).Hoping (wishing) this can last. And now, for a nice cup of coffee.

(((Sandy)))  Well crap!  Sorry about the GO train.  Public transportation is great...when it works.

It was so great hanging out with you yesterday!  Remember to keep that pinkie finger extended.  ;-)

Athena - so glad you got some nice normal sleep - and a good dream to go along with it.

E - wasn't so bad I bought a newspaper and enjoyed a nice cool evening.  Let me know how the border crossing goes - perhaps I'll read about it.Wink

Good morning all.  Still groggy this morning.  Forgot to mention, I love Michael Jackson too, just in case some run out of writing material.  hahahahahaha!  Oh and Marlon Brando, Vivien Leigh, Alexander Skarsgår, Stephen Moyer, Alfred Hitchcock, Francis Ford Coppola, Al Pacino, Martin Scorsese, Daniel Day Lewis, Robert DeNiro, Quentin Tarantino, John Travolta, Leonardo DiCaprio, just to name a few others.  Tons more, but too early for the old noggin to work.

Thanks everyone for the good wishes.

E - We'll be watching the news for any mischief from you on that border crossing - lol!

Blue: I may have a sleep study done. I am sort of taking this is steps. The first thing was to examine the entire psychiatric picture (still crazy -check!) . Now onto "regulatory" systems (hormonal systems off balance, most likely) and once that base is covered, if too many questions remain unanswered I will go in for a sleep study, which my doctor has been pressing me to do for ages. Hopefully I will determine if there is a patchwork of multiple maladies or abnormalities that explain why my usual comorbidity has been so hard to treat and why everything subject to fluctuation, including sleep, appetite, mood, etc.. is even more off key than usual.

I try to remember that there are a few things still working in my body: heart, brain (frontal lobe/higher thinking - the rest is a mess), metabolism/GI, and I suppose lungs. Wink

I sometimes wonder if we should have a "positive girls club" thread on BCO in which we each wake up and celebrate the major organs that are NOT giving us any trouble.

Yey for my intestines, spleen and pancreas - at least I think.

ETA: No problem, Sunflowers - don't worry.

Good morning all!  Sunflowers - What the heck? You can send me a PM also if you want when you get out of that corner.

I have to get this darn tooth pulled at 1 pm.  To make matters worse our insurance plan is changing.  I no longer have a premium insurance plan - we are going to deal with a high deductible and a 80/20 split as of the 1st of the year.  No doubt our dental plan will also change and of course that will happen before I need to do a bridge or implant.

Went to Target to get my meds and there was a lady there with short short gray hair and a baseball cap.  You could tell she had gone through chemo.  She was asking someone about having her hair dyed so I took that opportunity to introduce myself and talk to her.  She had just finished radiation.

Not sure how much I will be around today.  I may knock myself out after the dentist and just sleep for the rest of the day.

Hi, Jancie - hope tooth pulling is easy, and you have  restful day.  Sending good wishes/hugs!

I was "away" when the Mods posted this:

However, not sure what's going on here with the negativity, name-calling, etc. We deleted some posts, etc., but it needs to stop. It is a full moon, and maybe that is stirring things up, but we cannot have this on the boards.

    Thank you.

    The Mods

And I was just trying to send them a PM explaining what was "going on here" - but for some reason I'm on restriction and can't send PM's.  SO, I emailed them.

Kind of you to share with the woman in Target - I find that happens SO, SO, SO often now - brrrr...we gotta find a prevention AND a cure.  But we all know that....

Jancie .. Hope the tooth extraction goes smoothly today and you are not in a lot of pain.  It is a drain on the body though.  I was exhausted after I had my tooth pulled.  Sending you a big hug.

So awesome of you to talk to the lady in Target.  I've done the same before too, only it was in walmart.  The lady near me clearly had a port in her chest and looked so tired and overwhelmed.  We talked for a little bit and she went on her way.

Sunflowers .. hopefully you'll hear from the mods soon about coming off PM restriction.

    hugs,

    Bren

Thanks for doing that Bren.  I really think it can help women in treatment to see other women who have been through it, out and looking, well, I won't use he word "normal" cuz I don't know what that means anymore - but hopeful, going about, being active.  It really is a kind of "sisterhood" - you just know what a woman feels when you see her...

Barbara - I'm hopeful with and for you! Nothing worse than an awful job. Maybe an awful husband but I don't have direct experience with that.

Barbara .. I'm hopeful your next interview will be a success too.  Is it in person or over the phone?  Will the new job require as much travel?  I hope it's everything you want it to be!

Thinking of Jancie this afternoon.  Sucks to have a tooth pulled.  Drains your whole day!

    hugs,

    Bren

Thanks, Bren. It will be around 30% travel. Compared to 70% that is an improvement. The next interview will be with the person who instituted the hiring process (would be my boss). Here's hoping.

Janice - good luck with the dentist. I'll be thinking about you - sounds dreadful. Luckily, I have no experience with tooth extraction. Don't want any, either.

Barbara - fingers, eyes, toes if I could, crossed for Good Luck.  Which you probably won't need cuz they'll realize how fortunate they are to have YOU on the team!

Blue meant to ask, how's your jaw?  You really do have to be careful of falls, which I know I don't have to tell you, can be so dangerous, if you're still uncomfortable, I hope you'll call a nurse an get it seen to.   PS - (ok, a bit of a pun, but meant as in the end of a letter) I can PM againWink

Gorgeous SUNNY ( please let the fields get dry) in NE.  Leaves already falling -

    Congratulations Blue!!!

Hugs to Jancie for the tooth pulling - ouch

    Good luck Barb!!!

Well, we are in Swansea Wales!! Very windy though. We are staying with some friends and have been made very welcome. Did some coastal walking today and I didn't do too badly but couldn't go as far as DH and the lady we're staying with. I just love it here - gorgeous scenery.

The flight from Paris was interesting - it wasn't a jet but a plane with propellers - everyone cheered when it landed.

Now that we can use their pc I've booked the train to London (1st class) and an hotel near our son - got it cheap - looks really nice too!!

We both are over the travel thing but I think I've forgotten how to cook.

What fun!  And I'll bet you're learning to pronounce all those words with "double L's" and lots of "Y's" - can't wait to see your pictures - and congratulations for doing the walking you did!  Hang in there - a propeller plane, see how BRAVE you are Wink
