This is the first think I saw when I entered at their old apartment on my arrival night.

I said oooh you have a portable septic tank?????

Joe being Joe he says it's for you to use it.hahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa

It was actually the dog's gigantic food container.

I was thinking all of you that night.

    "Linda's septic tank"

Deb....I deleted this picture on FB. It was there for only a minute for me to copy and paste it here.Laughing

They are from the 90's and still write songs now.  They wrote a song for the movie Transformers.  I love the song IRIS.

i was riding on my exercise bike when i scratched my boob right above my nipple. when i scratched it again i kind of gave it a slight tap then followed by a thump. immediately i felt something was not right. located on an opposite wall where i just redecorated with five round mirror, placed randomly, in the bottom mirror was an image of my father when he was younger and played pro-baseball. i had never noticed that before and when i saw his image something told me that whatever way this thing was about to go, everything was going to be ok. my father died of cancer within 9 months, with the FMLA i was able to be there for him the last 3 months, we were neighbors and tennis buddies. my father was a faithful man and showed me how to die with dignity, the greatest gift a parent can teach. he was never fearful, regretful or angry, he had a personal relation with the lord and thats where he drew his strength. he always told me that we are not are bodies. i like to think that im a spiritual being having a human experience. i heard on some show this evening that 40% of our happiness has to come from within, the person said if everyone would start their day with 30 minutes in quiet meditation reflecting on gratitude your internal happiness quotient goes up.

What's happening tonight, Sheila???? :)  It is a bit unseemly to post such activity.  Is it BBB or SAM or both? Can't decide if I want to say shame on you or good for you :)

I feel very strong memories with all the 9/11 programming.  I guess it is good to remember how our country was forever changed but with the memories and sadness comes the fears that were so present then.

Linda - Mr. Goo Goo is HOT!  Even to my elderly eyes.  How long till you have walls?  That is how long it will be till you relax.

Weekends at midnight that was my rule. I do not remember how old Natalie was. maybe over 16.....

If she was 1 minute late I took 30 minutes out from the following week.

First she thought it was a game. 1 minute and I'm punishing her. It was the principal. She got it

Sheila  you were nicer than me.  Senior year, Friday night was 11:30, Saturday night was midnight and late meant a graduated loss of privileges. Junior year was 11 and 11:30.  Cell phones really make a huge difference and eliminate a lot of excuses...

9/11 ceremony at Town Garden today.  They unveiled a 9/11 memorial - a piece of steel from the World Trade Center.  My kids played in the band.  They played The National Anthem and God Bless America.  DH was among the Boy Scouts who attended.  I was just there.

A woman became faint during the ceremony.  I was in the back behind the band - next to an air conditioning unit at the library that was running much of the time, so I couldn't hear much of what was said.  But it seemed as though there was a pause in the ceremony and then there was a slight bit of commotion and then someone called out, "Medic!"  I was wondering if anyone was "working" this event as so many firefighters and police were in dress uniform for the ceremony.  Two people left their places, in dress uniform, and went over to the woman who was having a problem.  I'm thinking - if you're going to have a problem, this is the place to do it.  I think they ended up walking her over to the police station next door so she could sit down and cool off.

Then I started thinking about how grateful we all should be that when we are in trouble, we can call, "Medic!" and someone will come to our aid.  We can't thank them enough.
