After discovering a lump about a month ago and having a clear mammo and US my breast "specialist" (im not a big fan..you can read my older posts for all details) ordered an MRI to make me happy." For the last 3 weeks I have had swelling/nipple changes, blotchiness, redness, dimpling and ridges and almost constant pain. Sometimes it is a dull ache, sometimes stabbing. My left breats is double the size, very painful and my collarbone and neck area is swollen and hurts as well (mostly aggrevated  when wearing a seatbelt) I have no broken bones, muscle pulls, infection or bug bite (as the specialist suggested) Both breasts are pink in color, more on the left and very pink over the lumpy area. Sometimes they look redder than other times, but they are constantly pink and warm.

So my ?...I have an MRI scheduled for 9/12 which they tried to get me to switch to three to four weeks from then due to my cycle. I refused....My breast hurts it doesnt look right and it has alreay been a month. I will be at day 20 in my cycle (i know they say 10 to 15 is the best) Does it really matter when you have this many issues? I feel like better to rule it out now and if something significant is there 5 days of my cycle wont really matter will it? Thank you!
