Thinking Out Loud.....

We have to have a gutter person come to fix/replace our gutter. Water is going between the roof and the gutter. And we have to get a roofer to come and try to fix where it leaks where our back porch attaches to the house. It doesn't leak much- but if it rains hard from the east - it comes in. I thought I had seen - years ago - a spot - about an inch- where there was a break in the flashing, but the day Irene was supposed to come, I couldn't find it to try to cover it. I hope whoever does the work, does it right. Otherwise, I might have more people for the tank.
Too much rain!
-
chris...I hope everything is fixable and the rain stops soon.
This morning i woke up with the sound of the heavy rain.
My backyard was under water because the drain wasn't working properly.
It's better now.
I cancelled MH.
Chris how is your hair situation did you see a dermatologist yet?
Mine is not so good especially today. Itchy & ants crawling. I need to find a DR soon.
-
Good Morning....I just sent my 9 kids to school.
-
Seyla...........................tell me your making a "funny".......................9 kids........................I barely survived 6..........................if your serious...........................
YOU WIN THE PRIZE, YOU TAKE THE CAKE, YOU GET THE CROWN, AND A $1.98............ok, who remembers that show.......................
-
ducky....hahahahahahahaa

I only have 2 adult daughters.
I give you lots of credit to be able to raise 6 children. And you don't even need MH appointments.
I better start making my coffee before i loose it.
I dont know that show because i wasn't in US until 1971.
HUGS

Man, sorry about the ants. I hope someone can figure that out for you and make it go away! I was wondering, though, if maybe your hair might be thickening up after stopping the Femara and what your feeling is hair growth? Wouldn't that be nice. (except for the ants part)
I didn't see a dermatologist - too many doctors! - but I did go to my regular doctor and had blood tests done. Has she called me with results? Of course not. I think my doctor needs to go into the tank. I do have a follow-up appt for next week - maybe she figures I can wait until then? I did call to see if they were in - they were - but the dr hadn't looked at them yet. I'm supposed to go for an echocardiogram next Tuesday to see if they see anything wrong with my heart. EKG showed an abnormality. Great.

You too ducky

Edited to say when my coffee maker goes to Heaven i might thing about something like that because I only drink 1 cup in the morning. Well 1 cup is actually 16 OZ mug.........
-
chris....When i say ants crawling it's just the feeling and annoying. I know i have no lice or anything.
My hair is not getting any thicker at least what I see from the front it got very thin. My scalp is almost visible the other areas are fine.
OMG I'm complaining about this I better take action.
(((TOL)))
-
I know it's just the feeling - I didn't think you had lice. I just thought it could be new hair growing in. Like the opposite of the tingle you feel when it's getting ready to fall out.
I googled ants crawling and came up with formication (with an M - lol) from the latin word formica meaning ant. Wikipedia says, "Causes of formication include normal states such as onset of menopause (i.e. hormone withdrawal). " Since you recently went off Femara, maybe that has something to do with it?

Last night I was reading a new Thread titled Scalp mets and symptoms.
Someone said the scalp felt strange when the brush touched it. I don't understand this.
Anyway i have breaking news. THE SUN IS OUT........and very strong a miracle is happening in NY.

-
Getting brighter here too! Will we get a break for a while before the rain comes back? I hope so!
-
I'm not surviving my 2! 9 kids Sheila??? Christine, Natalie, RPOC, ..... who else??
Fix that problem soon Chris, before it becomes a big problem, you don't want water freezing there.
Rain just stopped here. But boy did it rain!! I have a truck delivery coming tomorrow, a HUGE truck with a boom to deliver my dry wall. They have to drive to my back yard. I'm hoping these puddles dry up otherwise it's going to be a huge mess!
Ducky, did you see Sheila boyfriend while you were at BBB?
-
Here we go with that BBB. Ducky dont pay attention to it.
Now I have SAM.
-
WOW!!! You have 2 men now!!
-
2 men I am beyond impressed. Ducky lives about 20 minutes from me we really have to meet, she definately gets me smiling which I don't do too much anymore.....The twins got to school the 2nd day in a row and Michael gets out at 11 cause he has study hall 3rd and 4th block cause he almost has all his credits.....George is waking him up I drove the today, case of the friggin rain, wth can it be done with, sick of all of it......am going out tonight to a meeting, Andrew has his first scrimmage.....was in Drexel Hill a couple of weeks ago watching scrimmages (that is where ducky lives)........Andrew has his first football game ever on Saturday, can't wait.....I got the video camera and bought a tape on e-bay cause the camera is so old I will look like a cameraman on some show, it is huge, bought it 1999 for DW.....have videos of the boys when they were young and now since the parents (daughter and his father) don't care about making memories for him, guess I have to, lol....
Hope you all are ok and safe within all the water, In PA the governors house flooded, too funny, he lives on the susquehanna river I guess, lol.....
