    I missed so much

Bren ouchy, ouchy, ouchy. I hope you heal quickly.

It is always nice to hear new voices, especially when they are friendly ones. I still don't know who reported who guessed and how anybody knows. But we will always have those who lurk and comment when we least expect it.

I met Blue at NOTL. I was impressed by her intelligence, her warm loving nature, her courage and her wonderful dogs.

You know we are supposed to be a disorganized cult. That seems to me to be an oxymoron.

A scooter riding tin foil hat wearing zombie killing cult. Is that too violent? As for tatts, we all have scars maybe we could cover them with tatts.

((((((HL)))))) Wondering about you! So glad to see your spirit back! I hope you recover energy quickly now that you can do more. So nice to see you here! Kiss Those bloody drains were the worst part of any of the BC surgeries for me. They really, really irritate the sides. It will be great to sleep in a semi-decent position again.

Noobs, foobs, goobs -- how about roobs (real boobs)?!!  So wonderful to hear the "drainage" issue is almost all resolved, HL, and that you're walking fairly upright.  And that's good because you're truly an upright kind of gal!

Thanks, all! I hope to be a little more active here as my energy returns ... One piddly hip drain is nothing compared to six drains! Rest assured, I'm still lurking, though (drawing cape over lower face and slinking back into the shadows....)

Excellent news HL.  Good to see you getting back to "normal."  I absolutely, without a doubt, HATED the drains.  And I only had two.  I would have been the biggest baby if I had as many as you did!!  I bow to your awesomeness.

    {{{HL}}} Missed you gal pal!!

I wanted to pile on the Blue accolades as I also met her and am proud that she considers me a friend. She is strong, proud, free and determined. And probably many more adjectives I can't think of right now because of CRS (Corona remember sh!&).

I would add my accolades for Blue, but I think she would prefer being roasted.Laughing

Very quiet here all of a sudden. I promise I didn't eat anyone. I see the rabbit prancing around. Lionesses are peaceful creatures whose only intention is to feed their cubs (you should all know that rhinos kill more humans than lions do in Africa).

Cherryl, one last round? Off to bed myself.

H Libby - on top of everything else you had to do without coffee for all these days?!?! That is outrageous. No wonder you have been tired. Without coffee my day doesn't get started well, not well at all.  Glad to hear you are one (big) step closer to where you are going.

Sorry to be MIA -- big, big work projects for the next few weeks.

Sue, love your stories of your trip!  Barbara and E, good luck with jobs!  HL, so glad you got almost all drains out, and coffee and chocolate are back on the menu!  For everyone who's not feeling great, hope you feel better soon!  Jancie, hope Jazzy's eye is all better!  (Shows you how long it's been since I posted here!)

And Otter, if you happen to pop in, I just saw this picture and thought of you --

    I have been lurking today.

I had a nuclear stress test done.  good news is that my arteries are clear.  Bad news....the chemo caused heart damage and now I have to start taking another medication and go back for another echocardiagram next month.

I wasn't home 2 hours and a back molar broke in half so I scurried off to the dentist who was closing up and didn't even care to take a look at my tooth until tomorrow.

It didn't help that I couldn't have any coffee for 12 hours before the test (scheduled for 1 pm) so by the time I got there I had a massive caffeine headache - took a percocet for that one.

It has been a crappy day - tomorrow the joy of sitting in a dentist's chair!  I would much rather have surgery than go to a freaking dentist.

HL - so glad to see you posting again.

Blue - you have been so welcoming since I joined this thread - that was back when I was getting slammed on the "don't do it" thread a couple of times.  You say something nice and whammmmmm......someone's fur goes flying and it ain't Athena's fur.

Oh Jancie -- you have had a really crappy day!  So sorry to hear about the heart damage from chemo, and I'm sure none of us envies your having to visit the dentist tomorrow!  Does he have nitrous oxide?  it really, really, really helps!!!!

Ann -- LOVE that pic of (the) Otter!

(((hugs))) Jancie ... so sorry you had such a crappy day.  I'm a night owl so I'll take over the bartending duties.  What can I get you?  And I'll make it a double ... on the house.

I think it was enjoyful who highly recommended the laughing gas at the dentist.  Hope that is an option so you can at least get something good out of the whole ordeal.

ETA ... I guess I'm not the only night owl after all.  Linda even knows the official name of the good stuff!

And yes ... that otter is adorable!
