Tink - Send some of your rain our way - we sure could use it. Hope you are behaving today - LOL!
-
Tink car ride it is...... to where ever that might be, so much more inviting than this rain......
Jo my friend how are you this lovely morning???
-
Peg - Add me to those praying for you and your brother.
Tink - As long as you're headed for a beach why not make it Ocean Shores? It is a beautiful sunny day, cool but without a wind--perfect for beach walking. I'll meet at the Damon approach.
June - Bring the kids, they'll love feeding the seagulls.
Have a good day everyone.

Hi, ladies,
I stay away for a week and come back to broken bones, wildfires, evacuations, etc. So sorry! Hope things clear up. Peg and June, prayers for your brother and Mom.
Linda, glad to hear that your recurrence is local. My cousin, who is the closest thing I've got to a sister, had a recurrence six yrs after dx #1. also local. That was four yrs ago and she's fine. Also had mx the second time. Thanks for the watercolor. I loved it.
Alicia, you are a woman after my own heart! I broke my foot in two places in July and had a stupid cast. Sounds like your break is worse. I was able to have a walking cast at least, but wow was I cranky! Cut yourself some slack and watch lots of movies.
June, re the weight gain, I also try to walk at least an hour a day. Can't budge this weight. Should be grateful it's not going up but with all this exercise I should be a rail. I need to lose about fifteen pounds. Think I may have to eat a carrot a day as I do triathlons. Hope you survived the kids and the rain. Doesn't that burn calories?
Sherryc, how I loved that photo of your family! They are beautiful! May you only have blessings.
Jo, And you other SWest ladies, enjoy your get together. Thanks for the yummy pix.
Jessica, welcome. I take the whole tami dose at night with something to help me sleep, and do ok. Lots of hot flashes but that's life. Yukky, but you learn to live with them.
Apologies if I forgot anyone. Stay healthy and safe, not like last week!
All the best, shari -
Peg, prayers for your brother. June, prayers for you and your mom.
My sister says "They're just parts, and parts will turn on you...." so sometimes we can part with our parts to save our lives. It doesn't make it easy to lose a leg, a foot, or a breast, but it does help with some level of acceptance.
I finally got my nerve up and am up to the full 20 mg - had been on 10 mg for about a week or so. Gonna do this, gonna get through it, gonna kick it!
