PiP -- good luck with the agents -- hope they bring lots of potential buyers. And don't forget to look up with duster in hand -- this year has been a bountiful one for cobwebs, inside and out
. -
It just agreed with my post that I am direct and real. Something to that effect.
-
I don't see how you could possibly report something in error with the present system. After the first report hit, it asks you again before it actually goes through. Is it still 5 people who have to report for a removal? No way could 5 people report in error. Nope, someone or 5 someones wanted that post gone.
-
Well TheLorax is supposed to be my sock puppet if one were to believe everything they read, so maybe that's the reason some decided to report it. But then, why not the others?
-
Blue - tee, hee.....you must have a very large drawer in your dresser

Maybe we should play a game of "matching" them?
-
BTW - I HAVE made a mistake and reported a PM as spam by mistake - but then immediately let the Mods know I had made a mistake. That's still a problem, based on my chemobrain/AI fingers
But I think whatever was "reported" was deliberate, to insinuate that this community somehow was "censoring." Whatever it was, I slept thru it.

I saw that post too ... nothing wrong with it that I remember. That sucks!
Bren ... good luck at the doc today.
Jancie ... you are going to have to recruit some more west coasters to this thread so you don't get deserted when it's late at night for us Eastern time zone folks.
scuttlers ... LMBO at your hubby's 'explaining'. I get that all the time about technical stuff too ... and they never notice that our eyes glaze over about 5 minutes into it all
Got 10 on the test but it doesn't really count since I'd seen it before. I never count the math one as right because I would never in a million years get it right on my own. I think the point is that we miss a lot and get a whole lot wrong when we go too fast and jump to conclusions without checking the facts carefully. The devil is in the details as they say.
Waving at Athena and Sunflowers flopping around

PIP ... I feel for you. The worst part of selling property is that you must keep it totally spiffy constantly. Because the moment you let it slip a realtor will call and want to bring somebody over right now. Hope it sells quickly!
-
Pip .. are you downsizing from your farm? Where will you go? I'm glad you found a home for your mini horses.
hugs and good luck today,
Bren

I am with Lindasa - EQ is much more valuable. IQs are overrated. Also, most really intelligent people are often poor testers. Not surprised that Gates did badly. IQ tests like the ones on the internet measure your ability to take that test, and that is it. But they are still fun. :-)
No longer flopping, thanks to the cool thin air in my office.

TheLorax's post has been reinstated by the Mods ... thanks Mods! Can't imagine why anybody felt the need to 'censor' it in the first place ... sorry that it happened to you Lorax. I think your crime was saying something nice about blue ... shaking head and wandering away.
Weather here has cooled off also. Just a few days ago we were sweltering in the high 90s. Now I go out on the deck in the evening and want to go get a jacket. Nice though ... I'll take it!!

Suzie - I am excited for you being at the Isle of Skye. My great grandmother was born there, near Talisker. It is in her honour that I drink Talisker whiskey, not that I ever met her, but the whiskey is one of the best I have tasted. I bought my first sample of it at the Whiskey Experience on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh and feel it would be right to go back to Scotland and visit the Isle of Skye. I am enjoying the trip through your eyes.
-
Yes, we are downsizing. My dh has family in the Bobcaygeon/Fenelon Falls area. We are looking at waterfront homes there.
Is it Friday already?
-
Thank you, mods. The system is working, despite our predictions to the contrary! LOL Wonder what the penalty is for malicious reporting?
Sorry it happened to you, Lorax. I suspect, also, that it "needed" to be removed because it was complimentary of Blue.
-
Agree with Allison, thank you Mods - now, as Mods know who the reporters of the post were, this may give an idea of who keeps attacking BCO, and especially this thread. No need to make pubic, as we know too. Sadly shows how little good it does to ignore people determined to destroy.
Allison - let's hope it's being banned from posting!
-
SunflowersMA wrote: "No need to make pubic, as we know too. "
Really? How do you know? Are you a moderator or did you report it?
The only people who "know" who reported that post are the ones who reported it and the moderators. Everyone else is guessing, and guesses can be wrong, and hurtful.
-
Hillck, now you've gone and done it. I'm blushing!!!!
-
I agree, sunflowers, no need to make pubic. Best to leave private parts private.
-
whoa - looks like someone struck a nerve just by personally "guessing" - tee, hee.......amazing how closely some people seem to follow this thread...must be our jokes?
ETA: also, must have on favorites - cuz not on active list - stranger, & stranger - lets sing WR's theme song here....
LOVELY CINDY - I agree..would put in blue letters if I weren't so nontechy.
-
Athena, I must agree with you. No need to bring your privates into this!
-
Ya gotta know that the next attack will be about "private parts" - ya just gotta
-
It must be Friday!
-
Already? I forgot to take the garbage out.....damn!
-
I have never been part of a cult before. When do all the rituals and brainwashing start? Oh wait...it's already happened hasn't it? I am already a zombie aren't I? I knew I was feeling different when I left NOTL!!!!
-
Whooooopppppeeeeeee - a cult. Can we give ourselves secret names too? So when I have to go to my next doc appt. and get weighed - I can say , oh, that's not me - that's .........
How about uniforms? to go with our gangsta spats? mine are spangled red Dorothy Shoe Spats. Anyone jealous?

-
Public/pubic: one of my all-time favorite typos. So easy to do, and always worth a giggle!
L
-
-
Can we be both? Pretty please!!
-
well, I don't know if my Dorothy Spangled Red Spats would go with those costumes

-
Would my tinfoil helmet clash too much with the zombie stripper outfit, d'ya think?
-
Yo, who snapped my picture when I wasn't looking..................yea that's right, I'm the one with the oozie in her hand................not fair, at least you could have let me prepare.
