    Hey ladies...................all my good, dear friends..........................I did survive it all............went to the shore the day after the storm (my son took the ride)..........things were ok, just some leaves in the pool...........ran the Polaris for about 2 hours and that took care of it................

    Went down again this weekend to close up for the summer...............nasty old wintertime ahead.............bah.....

    I am so impressed at how much you ladies care..............and I do apologize for being so thoughtless and not posting how things turned out for me after the storm..............I did post on some threads, but not all that I should have..........thanks to everyone who saw me on the other threads, and told the ladies, especially Seyla........thanks girlfriend

    Makraz.........................hahahahhaha..........oh how I wish you were right, but nature will do its thing.....................I think the older I get the more I hate the stinkin winter...............it is even worse when you live alone................I walk from the front of the house to the back.............like something is going to change............................right now we are being buried in rain...........does this crap ever stop.

    Raining here too, has been all day and it hasn't got out of the 60's!!!  The only thing this weather is good for is my hot flashes!!

    OMG I really feel full but not the happy kind.

    After eating light meals the last few days I felt very hungry and made breakfast for dinner.

    Scrambled Eggs with cheese and fresh tomatoes and breakfast sausages all 10 of themInnocent

    We have heatYell signs of coming months.

    I forgot how much a tetanus shot hurts after the shot.  Feels like someone punched me in the arm.  My PCP's PA-C said I have'nt had one since 2001.

    You should have a tetnus shot every 10 years.  Ask your doctor.

    I had mine this year.  I think I was due the year of the cancer, but it was too close to chemo, so I put it off.  Finally did it this year.  Was wondering if I'd end up with lockjaw (sp?) if I encountered a rusty nail since it had been more than 10 yrs.  My family probably would have appreciated it if I had.  lol

    Hi ladies - I was in the mountains and mostly without internet.  We had such a good time - rented a house for the family and some friends.  Winery, cooking, pool, golf, and a big, unexpected party. I invited four people we knew there, who invited four people, who invited two more. It has been amazing weather, I am almost embarrassed to tell you.  I think we are going again this weekend because we might look for a cabin over there.  It is going to be 95-97 degrees which I think is way too hot without AC. DD brought her BF and he was the life of the weekend in so many ways. My FIL couldn't have been happier with so many young women to flirt with and cooking for a large group is what makes me happy. DH went fishing and golfing, so he is a happy camper too.

    Sheila - I love your Hawaii pics and you look great! Your daughter is stunning.  I am so happy you had the chance to go.

    Sandy - Whenever you say you are going to the shore, I feel envy (in a good way). Hope you are feeling well.

    Deb - My DH fights the cholesterol too.  Heredity just can't be beat sometimes.

    Linda - You look great as always and have such a good looking family to boot.  They will look even better whent hey are back in school.

    Chris - where are you?  Now you are the missing one!

    Oh, DS has to go to Copenhagen so we have to take the happy DIL with us if we go this weekend.  Ugh.

    Meece - Miss seeing as much of you as we used to!

    YAY!!!  Kids are back in school!  It's raining like crazy!  I just had to let some water out of my pool, it was filled to the top!

    Hey ladies,..........thanks for the welcome back...............still raining here...school is back, no grandchildren to watch..............I did that through the summer for my daughter........while we were down the shore my daughter said to me "Here Mom, and handed me an envelope...........I said "waht is that for"..........she said "its your money for taking care of the kids (she insists, I don't want it), however.......off in the corner is my 10 year old grandaughter...........and she keeps looking.........finally she says to her mother "Nannie gets paid for watching us"...........my daughter said "yes she does"..............the little shit turns to my daughter, and says  "you pay her for just sitting on the sofa"..................she is out of the will...................................

    Made an appt. for a facial tomorrow.............Not that a facial is going to help this 76 year old "mug".........at this age I have so many wrinkles on on my face, I could actually screw my hat on............but at least that will kill an hour out of the day .................Wedding on saturday.....................grandaughter getting married................hair looks like a bird made a nest in it, and hatched its young.(thanks Femara)......................bra is definitely not doing its job.....the girls are still looking down at the floor................ankles and feet are so swollen I look like Miss Piggy in pumps...........(thanks again Femara)..................my grandaughter said "oh Nan you will look beautiful when I bitched................................Now you know she wants to be in the "will" with that comment......................

    Hey sun just came out.....................oh sorry it just went back in...................think I'll go look for the bottle of Kaluha.................I finished the Vodka........................NOW WHERE DID I PUT THAT....................................

    Feeling kinda crappy - acid refluxy and sinus headachey.  Blech.  Was going to go to see about finally getting some glasses, but then I realized that if my sinuses are putting pressure behind my eyes - that might affect my eye test...   so maybe I shouldn't go yet?  But I can't see...  Frown

    LOL on the quiet mornings.  The entire upstairs of my home is being redone.  The kids are sharing a bedroom, which they hate.  I have a toliet in my room, no wall in one side of my bedroom, which is fun with boys in the house, a vanity in the hall, granite slap and toliet in the new hall.  My downstairs has beds in the living room, another vanity in the family room, well, you get the picture!  Not very quiet here with all the construction, but at least the kids are gone for awhile!

    BRRRR almost put the wood looking gas stove on but the pilot would not stay lit.  I'm gonna have to call the gas man.

    It was only 60 here today and I was still in shorts and a tank top.  Flip flops too.  I'm sooooo hot all the time!

    My contractor is an old friend, he probably built my tank!
