re occurence

Anyone out there have a re occurence while taking femara? I recently had my yearly mammo and there is something showing suspicious in the other breast.

    byzalot:  If it's the other breast, not sure if that is considered a recurrence.  My right breast was removed in 2000.  I have metastatic disease since 2009, and am on Femara.  Went for my mammo last month for the left breast and ended up needing a needle core biopsy which showed invasive ductal carcinoma.  I am meeting with a surgeon tomorrow to arrange for a lumpectomy.  I believe it is called a second cancer if it comes up in the other breast.  I'm not really sure what to make of all of it either.  Keep in touch.  I wish you well and will watch for your posts.  I'll post updates on what I find out as I go through this new scenario.  Jean
