Breast Pain during Radiation

Hello everyone..............I have 4 boost treatments left (yippee)!!! In the last week or so I have been experiencing extremely painful shooting pains in the breast and chest wall (DCIS was very close to chest wall - but clear margins were achieved). I just was wondering if this is a normal side effect? It almost starts out as a fast shooting pain but ends as nipple burning. It is weird and catches me off guard.
Any input is appreciated..........and if it is a normal side effect.....fine! I just want to know.........

I am at my 8th Radiation Treatment out of 11 and I am having shooting pains in my nipple as well. I asked the Radiation Therapist and they told me pain in the breast was normal.
