I say yes, you say no, OR People are Strange

My GD in California started high school yesterday. She called last night to tell me it was "amazing". I thought all freshmen were intimidated and shy. Not my gal! I would so love for her to be in the nerdy group, but I can't see that happening. Poor DD and SIL.
Rosemary, you almost have me thinking about getting a cat. My little Yorkie is 10 and although healthy as can be, the years are flying by. Wonder how she and a cat would get along? She's quite the diva.
It was 95 here today. We've also had 80s temps for the last week. I will say it was a much better 95 than a few weeks ago. Much lower humidity.
Gracie - thinking about you.
-
Oops...I just farted. Sorry, guys!
-
OMG .. Are we going to have fart jokes now? Too funny .. and perfect for the 'romper' room.
Allison .. the temps jumped up here today too. Good news is that we had a big rainstorm blow in about an hour ago. Yay! Maybe the grass will grow and turn green again. Your granddaughter sounds so cute!
My little grandson started 2nd grade this year and he loves school. I hope he's a nerd too!
hugs,
Bren

Side effects of the cancer meds, Bren!
-
Bren 104???? I would high tail it out of there, even though your place is lovely, judging by the photos.
Raising my glass - hoping for a good day for all here tomorrow. How about that - I hope it's not too much to ask - I'd like a good day. My tail can only curl so far.
-
Hah! Since I've begun eating prunes every day, I can play music WITHOUT the piano!
-
E, did you excuse yourself, at least?
-
The Evil Fartin' Scooter Gang. That's us!
-
We had beans tonight! Should I leave now?
-
I love the idea of a "nerd herd"! My daughter was shocked that many of the nerdy kids in her dorm were not familiar with Dr. Who. She has since remedied that.
Enjoyful, I'm sure news of your fart will soon be brought to the attention of the proper authorities.
(Didn't have to do an airport run after all . . . my sweetie's brother was flying in at about the same time, so he's delivering SO to my door. Gives me time to do dinner - Turkish stuffed eggplants, yum - and put in an order at the BCO B&G. So, bartender, how about a gin and tonic?) -
Lewing - Dr. Who? My daughter has the tardis as her ringtone! They're nerds of a feather, our daughters.
Don't leave, Blue. You're one of the 'gang!'

Dudettes. Yes. I mean you. Just relax and just know tonight is whatever.
-
Walmart 1$ toy aisle: "FLARP" - a putty-goo that makes the most wonderfully disgusting noises. Worked great as a party favor ice-breaker at my "old fart" birthday party in July. Professionals, mountain folks, family, and people who didn't know each other laughing their a$$e$ off together. (punny, I know)
-
Oh no!!! Not "FLARPS""!!!! RUn!!
-
Yep, Barb. Whatever. (I'd say that with a dismissive head toss but I'd throw my neck out of whack.)
-
OH No!! "FLARPS"!!!! RUN!!!!
-
Whatever? Whatever? WHATEVER!!!!!!!!
-
Who made all the drinks doubles tonight?
-
It's all Cherryl's fault!
-
I'm innocent, I tell you. I was restocking the bar. Somebody else did it.
-
Baxter weighs 14 lbs- all muscle.
Changing subject because I wasn't the one who farted.

-
Why do I feel like the sorority mom right now? Am I getting old?
-
Blue, I've seen that pic before, labelled, "I fart in your general direction." Cracked me up then, too.

-
Nawwww Pip! We're just silly and Cherryl is up to her old tricks.
Riley, that one cracked me up too!
-
Blue, stop blaming me.
It's last call for this bartender for the night, The overnight crew is coming in. Sweet dreams. See you tomorrow.
-
I missed the party but I'll help clean up. Good night all!
-
Wabbit, I like this old avatar better.
Missed the party because too busy thinking about humanity's follies.
I'm reporting Cherryl to the authorities for spiking the drinks! Our overnight lab technicians' samples tested positive for triples, wouldn't you know....
'Night all, if I can sleep, that is.
