Hi Everyone

 Can anyone please share with me the symptoms that you experienced before being diagnosed with mets to the brain, and what type of treatment and side effects you experienced.  I am awaiting testing and have been experiencing some excrutiation right sided headaches and dizzyness and even trying to look out a window gives me blind spots in my vision from the brightness.  Last year I was re-diagnosed with two positive lymph nodes below my collar bone and have completed six months of chemo last Sept. followed by twice a day radiation for 5 weeks with 3 boosts and am just about to complete my year of herceptin.  Now awaiting testing I am so very scared, I find myself dwelling of this stupid disease every waking minute and am having trouble sleeping, it seems like all I do is have little day dream type sleeps all night long.  Please share anything with me that you have experienced.  Thanks so much everyone.

    Betsy,  so sorry your having to go through this waiting, and the headaches, I don't have any experience with this, and I'm sure others will come along to give you info.  I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you, sending you postive energy, and a great big ((((((((((((((HUG)))))))).

    Did you have Herceptin the first time around? If not have you  checked to see if you may be experiencing side effects from new treatment? I did not have those SE's from Herceptin but wondering if you have had this all along with Herceptin?

    Yes, I did have herceptin the first time around which was five years ago and I never had any side effects from it either the first time or this time around so this is quite worrisome for me/.
