Elevated ALP, AST and ALT

Options

I had blood work this week in prep for a possible hysterectomy next month.  I also had a CT scan...but no results yet.  My bloodwork showed my ALP 121, AST 41, ALT 41.  I am one month out from my double mastectomy for Stage 1a multi-focal node negative invasive cancer...but now so taken back by these results.  I have not spoken with the ordering doctor...I received the results through an application Quest has on my phone.  I do not even know if the doctor has them.  I am very worried.  I have been taken Tylenol and Advil for pain...but no more than normal.  I then wondered if it was from the expanders or something crazy...I am reaching.  If anyone had a similar issue shortly after surgery please let me know.  Thank you.

I just saw that nobody replied to you, so I am bumping this up. Have you found out anything yet?

I don't have any information about ALP but my AST and ALT have been elevated higher than yours but my doc said they are now trending downwards. My onc was not concerned with my results and said we could retest in 6 months.

I believe there can be many reasons for elevated AST and ALT. I had chemo which may have played a part but they are also related to fatty liver, which showed on my CT scan last year.

I think yours are only slightly elevated? Best to discuss it with your doc if you are concerned. I am hopeful it's nothing of concern.

    HI

My numbers were elevated during chemo 6 years ago. They are now back to normal. If your doing chemo don't worry because it is normal to get elevated numbers at this time. If your only a short period outside of chemo don't worry. Just get it retested in a few months.
