have been going docs for over 3 yrs saying my body feels very sick but I don`t no why was always feeling worn out memory was getting bad had every blood test imaginable nothing wrong the shock Igot in may blew me away consultant says could have had IDCfor up to 10 years just don`t understand

    gma1, some forms of breast cancer can be relatively slow growing, and may not be detectable for that long.   Other  forms are quite agressive and can be felt or detected with mamograms or sonogram a lot quicker.

     For me, the radiologist had me on a six month recall for denistiy isssues for three years before the idc was detected.   The day after   I was diagnosed, I met a survivor who had a recurrance after 17 years.

     BC is a sneaky disease, you can  be cured, but you can never be sure.

    I here what you are saying.  I to had not felt good for about that long, then in Mar. 2011 was DX and it is IDC .  I really feel like it has had something to do with the way I felt.  Tired, achy,etc. etc.
