    Hello everyone!

Has anyone else experienced weird skin post-chemo? You know when you get goosebumps? Well, my skin is constantly 'bumpy' since a week, I guess (rather hope) it is all the chemo leaving my body, but am not sure. I'm two months post-chemo (FEC & Taxotere) and have tried to hydrate even more, and eat very clean and healthy food, but it makes no difference. Any advice or experience?

    Thank you!

I have not heard of this. Could be very dry skin from chemo. My husband has very bumpy upper arms caused by dry skin. Always best to call your Doctor! Hope it goes away soon!!

Does exfoliation work????  My skin was very delicate during and immediately after Taxol.

I found that the combination of baths with bath oil to hydrate, and later on exfoliation to remove dead skin helped with this.

One benefit from radiation is that I now do a "Mae West" and rub creme into my breasts and upper body every single day. - Claire

Thank you for your answers. Well, actually I've always been taking care of my skin by exfoliating since my teens atleast 4 times a week, using organic oils and creams to moisturize (even have my DH put cream on my back) drinking lots and lots of water...I never thought of doing it your way though, Claire, hydrate with oil first and then exfoliate! Maybe I developed this because of an interruption for a couple of days when I had surgery last month..but one would think it would go away after a while. Oh, well, I guess I'll have to be patient...again :-D

    So I'm not alone :-D

It seems like it's starting to disappear, yay!! If there's something that gets me mad it's me losing my babyskin (which was even smoother on chemo, go figure!).

I did a search for “goosebumps “ and found this thread. Has anybody else experienced this? I’m 2 months post chemo (Taxol and AC) and now have goosebumps all over my skin. The skin on my face has felt gritty for a while now, but this is new. Hoping like the original poster that it’s just the chemo leaving my body

I had this and IT WENT AWAY. Don't worry. I don't know how long it took cuz I wasn't really paying attention, I just noticed one day it was gone. I think it was just the hair growing back or something, I don't know. The point is, it's temporary!
