Thinking Out Loud.....

Looks like there was as storm to your west around 8, but it fizzled.
We've got some storms to our west- taking their time getting here.
You and Linda should meet up. Maybe have some margaritas somewhere!
-
Yes, thats abput a half hour north of here. Have fun at your cookout.
My sis just called. While she was away for the week, something broke in her master bedroom toliet. Water damaged everything from the bedrooms, downstairs to kitchen and family room, to the basement. Over 60,000 dollars worth of damage. I can't believe it!
-
Yikes! I hope insurance is covering everything. Makes me wonder if we should shut off the water to the house when we go away... I hope it gets cleaned up and fixed up fast for her.
-
I'd better get in the shower before the storms get here. I'm afraid to - wonder how much hair will come out tonight... 175 hairs last night, but hadn't showered since the morning the day before when only 50 hairs came out. But I think I had showered the night before that... Hard to tell at what rate my hair is coming out when I don't shower at the same time every day. I still think on the whole I'm losing more hair than I should be. Should probably go see primary care doc and ask her to order a bunch of tests to see if it's my thyroid or immune system causing it. If it gets too thin or falls out completely, I am not going to deal with it well.

-
Whoa Deb that sucks, what did they take the copper plumbing? Storms here all day long today...sorry chris...not losing mine, just the hands and feet thing going on
-
hope the hands and feet thing gets better soon - or at least doesn't get worse...(((((HUGS)))))
30 hairs when I combed my hair this morning before putting it in a ponytail. (I don't tie it up too tight- that's not what is causing it - it's so hot, I have to put it up - good thing about putting it up is that it doesn't fall out all over me all day) 90 hairs in the shower just now and then another 17 when I combed it - very gently. This sucks. It reminds me of when my hair started to fall out from chemo. I put conditioner in my hair and then carefully run my fingers though it to try to get out the tangles in the chemo curls in the last 3 inches of my hair. What is causing the tangles are the hairs that are falling out caught in the rest of the hair. Then I get strands and strands of hair in my fingers. This can't be normal.

I think i need to see a dermatologist. I hoped once I got here this loosing hair and itchy scalp will get better no it didnot.
My DD says I got sunburn maybe that's why Im so mushy today.Im really getting used to the
pool after my coffee. I should be visiting Linda when back.
No pictures yet. OOOH how much I hate my picture taken. I have to take at least few.
Yesterday we took a waqlk andmy weight gain is making me very uncomfortable to walk long distance. I feel it
-
Sheila! ((((((HUGS))))))) - sorry about the hair/scalp. Maybe we should go to the doctor together. After you have your coffee and swim in Linda's pool!
Keep walking - you'll burn off those pounds that are making you uncomfortable and then you'll feel better again!
-
hugs to you and all.
Sorry for complaining I amvery happy and better move this butt and do something
Good night all
-
Okay - so now, after we went door-to-door telling people Rocky Hill wasn't hosting a Relay this year so we're taking our team on the road, I find out that they've thrown one together for September. Ugh. But it looks like it is going to be on a Thursday and it isn't going to be an overnight event. And it looks like it ends at 9pm - which is when the Luminaria ceremony would usually take place. This makes no sense to me. Now we are trying to decide whether we should do that one too to try to raise more money. DD would have a chance to hit up people at school - although the lady in the office who went through cancer tx not long before I did will probably put a team together and people would probably give to that team instead so she won't be able to raise as much money. Decisions, decisions...
Hope everyone is feeling well today! ♥
-
Sheila, so good to hear from you. I can't wait to see your pictures! Take some!! You can always email them to us if you don't want all the peepers to see them.
Chris, I don't know how you can count all that hair!! Amazing. You should tell your doctor and find out if its the meds or something else like your thyroid. I hope it stops soon.
Sandy, hope you are feeling better everyday!
Heading to vaca tomorrow so I may not be on much. Have a great weeke everyone!
-
Have a great time at the lake, Linda!
I know it's mental, but I have been counting the hairs. It just seemed like so much, I couldn't keep pretending it just looked like a lot because it's longer now. Must get to the doctor. But today was wait all day for the oil man to come to fix the boiler... Will have to call dr on Monday.
(((((TOL)))))

I prayed to the sun gods to make the weather nice for Linda.
Never know what the weather will be like up in the Lakes Region with the mountains, they can pop up pretty fast and be pretty fierce.

I am sweating. Bought a new iron - works much better than the one I'd been using. Puts out a lot of steam - which is making me sweat! Plus it's humid and this room is hot. I wonder if some of my sweating is hot flashes... I think I sweat a lot more than I should. I will blame hot flashes.
((((((((TOL))))))))) ♥
-
Ha - And I'm keeping hydrated by drinking Malibu rum and pineapple juice

-
Maybe I should go jump in the pool over at the Middies thread- they're having a pool party over there to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of that thread!
-
Well, turns out the Relay in our town is just a corporate event. Kind of makes sense being only 6 hrs, but I think it should be more clear on the Relay for Life website. Or am I just a dummy?
Made an appt for tomorrow am to see dr about my hair fallout. I hope they can figure out what is wrong fast so I can do something to reverse it.
I know there are worse things to deal with, but man - losing your hair is so awful... -
So sorry that you hair is falling out....
How is everyone, I know Linda is on vacation...
Seyla how r u and how is Hawaii...
Work call they took away the hours for tomorrow which is fine with me, they were apologizing...it is all good?
-
Zometa tomorrow, Sandy? Hope it's kinder to you this time. And I hope you have fun with your friends while they help you. (((((((Sandy)))))))) ♥
