fitters in NJ/NY/PA???

Options

Does anyone know of a good fitter in NJ?  I live in central NJ and my fitter is no longer in business.  I am looking to you girls for personal experiences.  If I had to I would go into NYC or into Pennsylvania but that is not my preference.

Alternatively: Any specific places to stay away from?

I am desperate to find someone new.  I can tell I need a new breast form and really need to try some on before purchasing.

Up in northern NJ, I have used the shops at Valley Hospital and Hackensack Medical Center.  Don't always love the fitters, but they had large selections and I would just try different ones myself.  In NYC, I like the shop at NYU Medical Center.

I go to the Bra and Girdle Factory on Rte. 70 in Lakewood.  They have a special room for us, have a good selection and the women are very helpful, nice and know everything.

    Hope this helps

My experience wth the Bra and Girdle factory is that they are great as long as you like what they have in stock. They will try to push their stock instead of workingto find what really works for you. I found a wonderful fitter Karen Donohue in Toms River. She just opened her own mast shop. Her number is 732-266-8065. She wll work with you and get you different forms and bras to find what works best for you. Sh is also very compassionate and has a great sense of humor, so the time spent trying stuff on is actually enjoyable. I hope you try her!

I use Just For You Two in East Hanover, NJ.  They are wonderful and I can't say enough good about them.  Their number is: 973-581-7070.  I am sure you will be pleased.  Also, Hackensack Hospital no longer carry prosthesis/bras in their store.
